What moved me most about our retreat at Laity Lodge was the perfect mix of inspiration, rest, and reflection. Every corner of Laity has been created to minister to those who attend. The architecture, the landscapes, the residences, even the paint colors and building materials have been meticulously chosen.

Also, I must add a word about dining at Laity. The food selections are not only delicious, they are colorful, healthy, and served by a bright, dedicated culinary team.

Consider Laity Lodge a corner of Eden because that is what it is.

I had the opportunity to attend a retreat at Laity Lodge this past weekend. I was blown away by the staff's wonderful hospitality and mouth savory food. Not to mention they had Wesley Hill as the guest speaker and musicians Jeff Johnson and
Janet Chvatal. What a treat!

I also took advantage of their outdoor activities and went hiking, paddling boarding, and swimming in the beautiful, crisp, Frio river. I couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway.

The food! The hospitality! The Frio River Canyon! The people! The ability to rest! The ability to create! The ability to have conversations with people you would never have met if you didn't come to Laity Lodge! And this is coming from someone of the Z generation. I love coming out here; once you come, you will want to come over and over again. Guarantee!

An incredible place. My good friend grew up going to youth camp there and would tell me from time to time how much he loved it.

Two years ago, my wife and I got the opportunity to take our family of four to family camp.

We’re looking forward to going again this year. The staff is amazing; the food is surprisingly high quality; the surroundings are gorgeous, and to this day, the Frio river (the headwaters come up on the grounds of Laity Lodge) is the most beautiful, clear, pristine river I’ve ever seen.

That said, I highly recommend.
