Nathan Bryant came by to fix a line after a power outage in Pagosa a few weeks ago. Very efficient, professional and kind. 5/5 stars!

I was an LPEA member for several years at two different houses in and around Durango. Handling payments was always a breeze, if there was ever an issue somebody was quick to help. The member services representatives were always very pleasant and super helpful. I never had issues transferring accounts/services between houses and also no issue when I last closed my account due to moving to Montezuma County (Empire Electric).

A utility pole in our neighborhood snapped in half in the morning due to the heavy snow. A crew was out there almost immediately. They were there, working in the very cold weather and snowfall, when I left for work, and when I returned from work in the evening. When I pulled into my driveway I was so happy to see the power had been restored. I am really impressed that the pole was replaced and the utility lines reattached so quickly in those conditions. Kudos!

Have to give them a 1. We are moving in mid-August 2020 so we need to cancel our service. We call July 6th and were told that we have to call 30 days or less to cancel. What! How antiquated is this company? Guess that's the service you'd expect from a monopoly. Now I have to remember to call them again and stay on hold again to cancel within 30 days. Update your system LPEA.

A necessary utility, you're always going to hear complaints. Yes, the employees can seem cold - unfortunately my financial problems and yours are the same ones these people deal with on a daily basis, with lesser and greater degrees of honesty. Approach with respect and honesty and you'll find they're one of the best at trying to offer any solution they can. Have always had good luck with response time on outages, and in 13 years of being a customer have yet to see an error in my billing. A company with integrity, if not all the answers.

It's so refreshing to belong to a CO-OP after many years of so-called "service" from Xcel Energy. Emily recently went above and beyond to assist me with the acquisition of a LPEA provided EV home charger and got me hooked up with the TOU rate plan that will save me even more when charging my car. Great service and programs/rates that are not profit driven, a win-win.

Horrible customer service. They would rather you freeze to death than extend a payment due date by a day. It's a business, and they really don't care about the customers. I wish there were ANY other option, but they have you by the %@**&, and they know it.

Merry Christmas!

Many of us have been without power periodically and inexplicably all day today (Christmas Eve). We have sadly retired Christmas dinner plans, and just hope they can fix it before the snow does us all in without reliable access to heat. We expected more, honestly.
