I have had a wonderful experience for the last three years recovering from my mental breakdown through the services of La Frontier. From my hospital stay and through my search for housing Jessica Chelbert my counselor has been there for me. Truly can't say I would be alive today if not for her kind gentle guidance. No B.S. they have wonderful groups and supplies for the homeless to those under court order. She has stood beside me in my recovery. Just recently she suggested Ms. Rikeena a recovery and life couch for my next level of life management. I was delighted to have someone to visit me and now I can do phone groups. Spectacular service!!!!!!!
Outstanding customer service!!!!
Wonderful recovery groups.
And a place to go to to make new friends!
I was in Cope but I never received such personal and lasting relationships.
My doctor is wonderful as well. I always look forward to meeting with him.
This is THE place to go in times of crisis.
From the receptionist to the clinical team you feel welcomed and wanted.

Absolutely horrible service! The provider “Debbie” wanted to reschedule because I was 10 minutes late when I tried calling at least 20 times but no body ever answers their phone!!! The phone number they have listed on google isn’t even the same as the clinic so good luck getting ahold of anybody!! What really irritates me is you can’t be even 5 minutes late but yet they have you wait HOURS to see your provider. I will definitely be looking for another clinic. Very poor job la frontera and Debbie!!!

Interpretation for Spanish speakers is not very good. The psychologist might say something very intricate to the patient and the interpreter might only interpret 30% of that. There is a huge discrepancy in communication.

It's apparent from many unhappy reviews that positive stories should be shared giving credit to those deserving of it and bringing hope to those in need. Although I did have communication issues with the office at the beginning, for every problem, there is a solution for those who seek it. I've never felt more supported in my mental health journey than I have here. My provider, Mr. Falcon, and coach Julien have been compassionate, understanding, flexible, positive, and genuine. They deserve praise for the medicine and therapies they practice. Serving others is their calling. My coach is willing and ready for anything, always there for me, and that's priceless. My provider allows me full participation in my health care plan, trusts my innate abilities to understand myself and what I need, and acknowledges my life experiences that led to my struggles. As my care team, they always allow me the strong voice I was born with and give encouragement and advice keeping me moving in the right direction. There is no one pill or single therapy to fix a lifetime of struggles, however, there are special people dedicated to helping change lives, and, more importantly, saving them. These are those people. I commend your office for withstanding the strained healthcare system at this time, rising above all challenges, and putting in the effort needed to be there and help me on my journey to wellness. There are ebbs and flows in life to everything, to anyone suffering, you're not alone. I believe you are capable of wonderful things, and you should too! Thank you for your time and services.

If there was a negative star option, that would be my true rating.
I transferred here because they told me that SEABHS is Sierra Vista sucked and touted themselves to be better. Do not be fooled as all SEABHS and La Fronterra facilities are under the exact same company.
Not only did my "new patient" visit get switched around twice, without conferring with me, but when I finally got to the appointment, it was the most triggering, abhorrent care I have received in the mental health field in 5 years.
Dr. Falcon (the psychiatrist who works telehealth out of Colorado), violated HIPAA by discussing private traumatic events in my life with a family member. He also treated me so disgustingly during the session in a way that I can only describe as a sick pig who relishes patients reliving trauma. He told me he wanted to know what I've been through but that I didn't need to "go into gory details" of my TRAUMA, but then asked constant, incessant, prying questions that sent me into a state of distress. It is like he gets off on these things.
I spent a mere 30-45 minutes with this pathetic excuse of a professional before going out to my car and sobbing uncontrollably to my mom. After which she helped me pen an email to stop Falcon from being allowed access to me or my care and you know what he did in retaliation?
He reached out to another provider who was assisting me with my meds until I could find a new provider and told her to discontinue all of her prescriptions for me. And then sent in prescriptions in their place (which he was explicitly told not to do).
I reached out to Randy who is the "director of operations" and he said he would look into the matter. I found out yesterday that he intends to do nothing about the situation because Falcon didn't get into "too many specifics" while violating HIPAA, so he (Randy) feels as though HIPAA just "really wasn't violated".
Randy also stated that although Falcon didn't handle things the way he would have, "that's why it's called *practicing* medicine. Each doctor has their own practice and while they work under us, we can tell then WHAT to do, but we can't tell them HOW to do it. So Falcon is allowed to practice as he sees fit."
I guess traumatizing patients is in the La Fronterra's manual of "ok to do" list. Pathetic excuses of very sick men on power trips is the foundation of every good practice!

Since February 29th, 2024 La Fronterra has made a very coordinated effort to conceal illegal mishandling of care and my case manager, Gabby, precisely lead me to Randy in order to get ahead of this gross misconduct of care, under the guise of "helping me".
They have caused me a great deal of stress, emotional pain, and retraumatized me every step of the way. This will be reported to multiple avenues and I urge anyone seeking help- if you have ANYWHERE else you can go, don't go here! Get real help. If you don't have anywhere else to go- do NOT see Falcon if you have suffered any form of sexual abuse as he gets off on you reliving that.
I hope that however you seek help, you do not get treated with the indignity and cruelness these people have shown me.
I have been asking for days for my medical records and they are also refusing to get me them in a timely manner even though I have other family members and friends who have gotten records here. They are trying to make me wait a month when it only took a week for others.
ALSO, record ALL your sessions! I have to record because of memory issues and thank goodness I did because I now have proof to show the reporting agencies.

My experience with La Frontera has been great. I attend acudetox with Dana and I've really enjoyed it. It has helped me to relax and stay sober.

Do not go here, even if it’s recommended by a doctor DO NOT! You will not get the care you need and will be ignored for weeks. No one there knows how to even answer a phone. You won’t get any sort of help from these people even in a crisis. They do not care about you, they care about your co pay.
