Amazing place with great, compassionate, and diligent staff. Firstly, they were able to help me via long distance, they knew I really wanted this baby. I’m so glad we drove the few hours to pick up our little puppy 😊😊😊 & we would do it a million times again.

after two trips to surrender a mom and pups . they said both times they couldnt take them. i have fed them for 5 weeks. i thought taking care of them. for awhile they might take them. i even had a surrender fee as stated on web site. however once you have had them they will not! one worker was extremly rude and accuse me of saying things the first round that i didnt . I told them that the things they were saying was not on the website. 4-5 came people came out repeating issues over and over there really are no options for people who dump off at your home.

Took a stray German Shepard to the shelter after posting photo on Facebook without a response. Called 3 weeks later to check statis - unclaimed, adoptable. Arranged adoption. Quincy has since gained 14 lbs and receiving treatment for heartworms & intestinal parasites. Thanks to everyone at the shelter for helping me get my new companion.

First, this IS a KILL shelter, just so you know. My experience there was the staff was ok, professional but nothing to write home about. The place looked good, as a shelter should. And they have selections.

I called about surrendering a cat we have and since we recently moved here have not had time to switch our licenses over yet.

Apparently stray/feral/? cats can be surrender (no fee) if you have had it for less than 10 days with your license.

He also told me to come EARLY as available spots fill by 12:30, so 11/11:30 would be best.

Best customer service I have had as he asked his supervisor (many times) to help me figure out what documents to bring in.

I've gotten a couple of animals from here. The staff has always been sweet and they seem to do their best to take care of all the sweet babies. I do believe this pup is giving me the evil eyes though!!! 🤣
