Lenten fish fry was very good

Brighton native and have been to at least 100 events here since I was a kid. Looked up on google for pricing to possibly rent for wife’s baby shower. No pricing available on line but google showed the center was open til 7pm. Called after work at 6:15pm (45 min. before they close) and the “Hall Manager” Matt, answered but rudely told me I should not be calling this late and that no one should be calling after 2 pm to inquire about hall rental. I asked him why he answered the phone then and why did their google search show they were open til 7. He told me he needed to change that and that he answered the phone from home not realizing it was for a rental inquiry. Can’t believe this place has been established this long and doesn’t have a business phone, plus outdated online info. Yea it was a Friday and I’m sure he must have had a long day, but man, customer service no longer exists and has been supplemented for rudeness and unprofessionalism, I guess. Def won’t be using them for any of my personal events.

Warning shady business: we had our company Christmas Party here and they told us they couldn’t run more than a single tab in the computer at a time. The option was to write everything down and close out after the company tab was closed. Not a problem, they were running two hand written tabs all the sales for cash and our tab. When were started cleaning up the bartender said our tab was about $70-80 bucks and they would be ready to cash out soon. It took us about 30 minutes to clean everything up and be ready to close our tab, they rang it up and I just signed the computer screen not looking at what was there. The next morning our receipt was double of what the bartender estimated it 30 minutes earlier. Looking at the receipt it looked as two (cash and my) tabs got combined in error. When I called to ask if they could look at the register to double check I had several stories of why that couldn’t be done. I called multiple times to get a resolution; with no luck. You can see in the receipt that things are doubled top to bottom. I would guess they don’t have the most (trustworthy) people working there like they think. Don’t run a tab!!

The hall was for birthday party for a dear friend who had turned 90. The Knights did well in managing the facility and the event.

Is good could use some minor improvements but overall was really nice have had one event and was good great for qinces and also wedding and good for dancing and has a bar when you rent it

Nice place to host a party, wedding reception, crafts show. Have been doing some make overs, really looking good 👍
