Staff is very nice and helpful. I have treatment m-f and being able to stay during the week while getting my treatment is nice. Everyone is very polite.

Very good rates. Nice and quiet. Game room as in puzzles and board games. The kitchen is shared, but you get your own mini fridge. My room had 2 twin size beds, a bathroom walk-in shower. We keep our rooms clean they let us use the vacuum. TV in room had netflix... nice place to recover after my surgery till the Dr. Said I could go back home. 4 hrs away..

In order for you to stay at the Kiwanis house, someone from your doctor's team would need to call them and make the reservations. Let your doctor team know how many days you think you would need, as they fill up quickly. The Kiwanis house was very quiet, clean, very affordable, your income determines your rate. However I believe the most you would pay would be $50.00 a night. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always willing to assist you. Every room has a refrigerator, and cabinet assigned to them in one of the four full service kitchen areas. They do have an ice machine available for those in need. You would need to get an employee to go with you to get the ice as it's kept behind a locked door with other items for the staff. There is RV parking available, however I do not know exactly how many spaces are available.

So easy to access from the UCDAVIS Medical Hospital entrance. Staff is great. Clean, quiet, free parking, shuttle to the hospital, complete kitchen is clean with your own fridge (bring your utensils, plates & cookware); private bathroom; ada rooms available; TV, wifi & other computer amenities; staff on 24hrs; really reasonable rates.

This place is amazing. They do so much to help people from out of the area who need lodging while they have family at UC Davis Medical Center or Shriner's. They work hard at making the Kiwanis Family House a home away from home.
