A wonderful organization dedicated to focusing on supporting Kids from Phoenix in need by providing beginning and advanced skills in the Art of Photography. They teach a concept in the classroom, then go out and work on that skill with the other kids and their mentors, adult volunteers. In practicing those skills through outdoor adventures and field trips around Town and up North of the Phoenix Arizona Metropolitan area, the Kids get to go on adventures, sightsee, and document their experiences with their, individually provided point-and-shoot digital camera, provided by Kids in Focus. There's about 1 mentor to 3 Kids on field trips, which give kids the chance to work with local photographers/ caring adults who share an interest in Photography, and Sightseeing around the City/the Sonoran Desert of Arizona, As to be expected, this recipe improves the quality of Life for the local Kids in need, their Family's, and the Community at Large.
