I toured the community with Christie and felt a great energy throughout the building and with staff. Kavod is unique in that it has a great price point for assisted living options and also sits walking distance to Cherry Creek shopping. My mom loved it here. There are lots of activities and computers for residents to use and a community dining room for dinner. Easy to get to the cherry creek shopping center and Safeway. They were very accommodating when she had a medical emergency and had to get her stuff moved out and we weren't sure of a move out date to give them. The building is very dated inside and looks kind of worn but seems clean.

Check on resident in evening in Assisted Living very much appreciated and caregivers very polite. Sometimes find management not receptive to concerns. Food service could be better. Not receptive to dietary needs of residents or even simply what the resident's suggest. Despite becoming open to all denominations, the food service and many activities remain geared towards favoring of Judaism. Example, lots of fish when my mother doesn't care for fish so if cannot eat what served, must purchase own food for room.

Changing my review about Kovod. I actually spoke with CEO and he is very nice, polite and the man of his word. He did fix the situation and he did make sure that ugly situations as happens last would never repeated. Tha k you sir.
