This is my go to shop in Brownsville. I’ve been playing MTG for years and even want to open my own shop one day. They have a great amount of bulk to look through and an almost always stacked binder of singles. They usually have great stuff in their showcase but it can get bought out quick so make sure to grab what you need.

They have a ton of events and for the most part the crowd is friendly. The owner Marco is awesome. He’s super welcoming and accommodating.

Great shop with lots of mtg singles plus all the supplies you need. The community is warm and inviting to new players. You can chop it up while playing so; it’s a relaxing environment.

I had no idea this shop existed until I googled trading card stores and I'm really glad I found it. The staff is super friendly, and they have a lot of TCG singles, especially for Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon. I stopped by specifically for MTG cards and supplies, and I'm very happy with what I got.

Kaskade is very welcoming and has an awesome atmosphere! Marco is accommodating and the shop is very clean. Barely started playing TCGs a few months ago, but the staff and community at Kaskade have made the experience super enjoyable!

tried to sell cards and wasted my time. i was there to sell graded cards and the guy was taking FOREVER to get the listings and just wasted my time because apparently they dont buy CGC graded cards. than weird people started to look at my cards to i guess steal them, they looked and smelled weird, and the guys face looked greasy. so if your trying to sell cards, DONT COME HERE!!!

comfortable and cozy place with awesome staff! i enjoy coming here and end up having tons of fun chatting and playing with everyone, including the owners! i definitely recommend for anyone who wants to learn about card games or even advanced players.

I came in for a casual commander game as advertised, I was immediately bombarded by players who were arguing with each other about each other's ridiculous decks and asking staff to step in to the game before it even started.
It was my very first game of commander with my very first commander deck. I thought it was okay if i did this but i was immediately met with some kid there that beat our pod in 3 turns and was bragging that their deck was a $12,000 deck to us and how he was so much better than us.
Everyone in my pod kept saying that he wasn't supposed to be doing this, which confused me even more considering it's my first commander experience.
After this happened, the other players weren't paying attention to my actions in the commander game because I wasn't doing enough damage or combos.
The entire pod even ended the game when two players lost in the pod, and I was left with the other person. I still had full health, but i wasn't good enough to play with them.
It was the single worst gaming experience I ever had.
I thought I could come with a casual deck, but I was met with toxicity, discouragement, and frustration by everyone all around.
