I've been to a lot of big cities and one's not so big. What I'll tell you is that the people that work here actually care. It's amazing to be around a lot of people that genuinely have an interest in helping. I'm sure there are great people everywhere. I just wasn't able to find a place like this in Chicago, Atlanta, Milwaukee, or Phoenix. Just to name a few. With all due respect it's such a blessing. Thank you to the City of Houston and the people that work in this place. ?

P.S. If you want to change your circumstances and be around people that are like minded then don't be shy. The ReEntry program for prior inmates is elite level programming. There is so much more and if you come you'll see what I mean. I advise that the best way to get positive results is to be peaceful and ask. No sense in getting frustrated or disrespectful here. It's a different kind of environment.

It is a place where the people are very friendly. Older people can go there doing the day, there are things for them to do to keep their mind occupied and keep their bodies moving. Children can go there during the day and possibly after school. They have copy machines in case you need a copy. And lots of City things that we just don't know about.

I am in support of having community service centers in our neighborhoods..This is especially and essentially needed in low income and improvised communities..There is wealth of information and resources available for help there are people who understand and are compassionate to help you get to it or through it with a need, help or information.

This location has good security and large rooms for rent. Despite the area surrounding the center, the inside is amazing and there are plenty of parking spaces.
