Kainos is a system of special needs homes, retirement center and day programs. They are one of a kind and unique to the Bay area. If you are considering a placement for your special needs adult family member, this is a place you should consider and apply. My daughter moved in last year, this was her first transition from living at home with her parents. She is very happy and has a new best friend to spend her time with. She loves the day program and going places on the weekends with RJ.
This is place is so fantastic that last month they took half of the clients to Disneyland and the other half on a Disney cruise. Like I said there is no other place in the bay area like this one. They care a lot!

Unprofessional and rude staff. The Kainos staff is putting danger resident with low immunity by not wearing mask in time of Covid epidemic . When you sent something to residents they do not sent you thankful note. The admission, safety, financial benefits should be investigated. When you text to your child she will respond “she wish to talk to you “but after hour someone will text -“no contact” . When you email your child they refused to complied with confidentiality.
