We were invited to join the Junior League of Tucson at their Touch A Truck event earlier this year. Their member, Courtney, was our point of contact and she was awesome! Extremely welcoming, full of information and enthusiastic about a good cause! We hope to be invited back to more events in the future!

Junior League of Tucson has been a great experience. I originally got involved for the purpose of meeting new people. I’ve been in the league for 6 years and it has done so much for me! Not only have I met some of my best friends, but it has also given me the opportunity to be involved in the community through volunteering. It has also challenged me as a leader by taking on projects and serving on the board. I highly recommend this experience!

I have been a member of the junior League of Tucson since 2015. It's a great place to meet other women who care about their community, enjoy volunteering, and the company of other like-minded women. I highly recommend this organization for any woman who is interested in learning professional development skills, helping impact the community, and making friends while doing it.

I was a loyal member going on 2 years. I even became the IDEA director for 2022-2023. The first year was amazing, I felt that I was able to get myself out there in the community and be part of some amazing volunteer events to include Interfaith, Habitat for Humanity, Food Bank, etc. However, I soon became to realize it is a cliquish group and a group that does not wish to bring change or new ideas. Which was hypocritical to have an IDEA committee (Inclusion Diversity Equity and Access). I became the leader in 2023, trying to evoke Nurses day, which was then told we could only have Teacher's Day but no Nurses Day! I went to ALJI which is the national partner and was told the same thing. I then found out indirectly they cancelled the IDEA committee as there were enough "sustainers" who voted against this and so it was said that the committee was cancelled.

To me this is a sorority type style for those who have left college but the personality remains the same. No inclusion.

Unfortunately this non profit miss lead us when they reach out to us to provide services for them for the April event. They asked for special consideration on our terms and pay at time of delivery. We confirmed the order and time of delivery earlier on the week and again we were told that payment will be done the day of the event. When we arrived we were ask to come back in about an hour. After the event was half set, another company came in and we were asked to leave that they didn't sign a contract and that it was only a quote.. This type of ethics give a bad rap to non-profits in Tucson. I felt that it was very dis-considered to our company and to our employees. After we have giving them a donation they at least could have call us and let us know not to waste our efforts! Very upset When I questioned Adrienne Kastan about what happen all she told me is that she didn't have a contract signed with us and that she didn't know what happened. That just doesn't cut it!

I attend the S.A.A.G. meetings here. It's a nice venue for that. And if you're a creative, it's a wonderful organization, filled with lovely people who are willing to help and possibly mentor you. M

Hall was just freshly painted. Would be a great place to have an event or hold meetings. Plus you would be helping a nonprofit.
