I have grown up in church my whole life and visited/attended more churches than I can count. Joy Church is the real deal! Joy Church has Biblically balanced teaching that tackles topics most churches are afraid to, engaging worship, a wonderful community of loving people who want to make a difference for Christ, and more integrity and character in the church staff than I have ever seen! They go above and beyond to ensure everything they do honors the Lord, is done with integrity, and has accountability. After live streaming for 1.5 years, our entire family moved from New Jersey to attend in person because we knew the Lord was leading us here. If you're in the Nashville, TN area and looking for a church that won't shy away from hard topics, but deals with them through the lens of both grace and truth, Joy Church is for you. So thankful God blessed us with this church family - I never want to go anywhere else!

Tonight was our last night going. While my 2 little girls loved it my husband and I never felt a connection. My husband is ill and almost blind and wanted to sit in the car tonight and stream the service. So I took the girls in and went back to the car. When the service was over I went in to get the kids and was met by what I think was a security guard. He said I had to stay in the building if the girls are there. I just said understood.
We will find a closer and more suitable church for us. There's hundreds of churches in Tennessee!

All the Pastors are top notch. If you're looking to serve people in practical ways through Jesus Christ, the one and only God, and be led by His Holy Spirit in honor of God the Father, then come to Joy Church. Pastor Jim Frease is passionate about leading others both to Christ and on journeys of faith in Christ.

Pastor Jim is GOD'S man in our generation.
Why? Because he does it, GOD'S Way. This is the most scriptural church ⛪️ that I've seen. They put GOD'S principles to practice.
Let me ask you a question?
Are you tired of floundering around and never making any progress. Come here for 1 month, do what is being said, and your life "will" change for the better. Stop playing around with your life and get serious. Go all in, and you will see, maybe not overnight, but over time, you will be pleased with the results of GOD'S WORD working in your life. It's your choice. For me and my household 🏠 we serve The LORD at Joy Church ⛪️.
See the salvations below. "The proof is in the recipe." People get Saved here.

I have a million things to say about this church, and later I’ll have sub-points so hang on tight 😂
——
1st my initial thoughts were JOY that’s what I have, and want… why not go there? (Demonstrates understanding of the Good News)
——
2nd many people in the church have been there above 10yrs & 75% of the congregation has a ministry position (demonstrates disciplining)
——
3rd the staff has been together for decades (demonstrates humility)
——
4th the campus is paid for I.e. my tithe actually spreads the gospel, it doesn’t just pay a bank note
(Demonstrates stewardship)
——
5th Pastor Jim is unashamed. He references scripture better and quick than a biker using swear words & he displays proudly every Sunday the amount of people saved each week. In services alone they are north of 600 just this year…
(Question the authenticity of what I said, reread all my points:)

6th it’s a place to grow, not only is scripture read, but pastor Jim gives us practical counsel 🙂

My dad taught me a simple way to diagnose a church:
A) have a Bible reading church
B) read their mission statement
C) are people getting saved?

I used to feel like a unicorn at church. Like I was the only one who understood how much we had to celebrate.
Until I came here, then I met my people. 🫶

I love JOY CHURCH. My friend invited me to start attending & I've been attending regularly for over a year. PLUS, I've gone to quite a few of the events as well. I'm happy to be a member there. 🙂

Not impressed with this place. I heard great things so I decided to go one morning. The pastor, was making jokes the entire time, trying to be the "friend" of everyone. This was a red flag for me. Not only that, but he made explicit jokes about how he was on the bus and a girl was hitting on him, but he made sure to stay true to God and not go back to her room How is this even appropriate! Do better! If you leave a bad experience on their Facebook, it will be deleted, be advised!

You have to go more than once, Pastor Jim is incredibly unique. He does things so differently (Biblically aligned) not about tradition, so it is an overwhelmingly unique experience 💜
Pastor references the Bible with every sentence he preaches, it’s fascinating how well he knows the Bible. He preaches from the floor because he enjoys his crowd of people who have gather to listen to his teachings & he references his flock by name encouraging their spiritual growth during his messages! He says love when he speaks about them too. I’m so refreshed that in the church growth he continues to point us to the source & encourages biblical literacy by providing classes & workshops. Love this place & the many ways they encourage us to serve for the kingdom.
