I have been staying at the campground behind the Welcome Center for the last month. I had considered staying long term and possibly purchasing a home here in Mountain City. After a childish drama filled encounter with Jenny who works at the Welcome center/Museum/Campground i decided against staying long term or making a home here. This is not a place I will ever stay again and now understand why the Welcome Center/Museum/Campground are continuously empty. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is a grown adult who wants to be treated with respect and kindness.

This place is nice. I catered a wedding in the lower level. I was told that they had a supply of serving utensils , but their supply is very limited. The bathrooms could use some updating. But other than that it's a nice place to have a small gathering.
