So odd! I've been shopping @ Joann for decades - I've never had such a strange shopping experience.

I wanted to purchase a new sewing machine. Nothing major, just basic. I stood there looking while 3 employees passed me, nit asking if I needed help.

Went to the cashier to ask if anyone could help me. I was told - the red haired girl is the expert on the sewing machines. I went to her, she seemed annoyed that they referred to her an expert, and that I pulled her away from her phone.

She told me she doesn't sew, and only knows the machines she represents. Which were higher end. She was so disinterested.

Then I asked the cutter if she could help me. She could not answer any questions, just get me whichever machine.

At checkout the same person, repeatedly told me that if there is anything wrong I have to go the manufacturer, they could not help. Ok...I get it.
Then had me sign a piece of paper that was FOR ME! So I had to sign a document that I was going to take with me? Bizarre!

I will not be surprised if I open this box and it's damaged.

Come on! I hope the manager of this store reads this. Be better - the other stores do.

This is the NICEST location I've ever been to & I've kind of lived all over. Their fabric selection is amazing and I love how it's all organized. They keep it so nice and everything is well stocked.
Unfortunately this is 25 minutes away from where I live but I would go out of my way to come back to this location ?

I’ve never been treated so poorly. The employees here are rude and racist. They kept passing us onto other employees. I’d try to start a sentence and would be cut off. I’ll never come here again, they shouldn’t lie on the phone about stock checks and actually look for the item.

Clean and organized. I grabbed a number for the fabric area and only waited 10 min to be helped. I am new to sewing and the associate was very helpful and nice, I forgot her name though.

I went to buy some stuff as well and picked up an online order around 5 p.m. today, 2/23/24, with James’ assistance. James was so genuinely helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I find it hard sometimes to interact with strangers, but his friendly demeanor definitely made it such a comfortable interaction for me. Outstanding customer service; letting me know about coupons and how to save much more is definitely such a plus! Also, I am not sure what the reviews are talking about, but I came to a clean, organized store. Perhaps they’ve caught it on a bad day when it was understaffed, but this location is just as awesome as the one in La Habra!
