Unfortunately, JFS employees only write and talk beautifully, but in reality they have complete discrimination based on race. Due to the dishonest work of one of our employees, we lost a program to support refugees and provide housing. They promised everything and didn't deliver. They send our family with a small child to the shelter with pleasure and a smile. Very very sorry(

Our journey started with JFSSV since our first day of arrival 15th May, 2023 in the USA, actually this organization is amazing better threated us and we never felt that we are far away from our families and felt that we are with our family, daily supported us, they booked a room for us in the Extended Stay America Hotel San Ignacio Avenue, were delivering food items on our door back, giving gift cards to buy clothes and everything for our kids and all family. Gifted bicycles and toys to our kids helped us to be enrolled in medical benefits. We spent 5 months and 15 day in the hotel, every day JFSSV case managers had follow up with us, I got my driving license, bought car and finally JFSSV’s career Consultant found my dream job as Sales Consultant with Hyundai and KIA dealership, on 11/01/2023 JFFSV rented apartment for us and now we are so happy in our home, on the meantime JFSSV found my wife’s dream job as Import/Export Specialist, by their support and encouragement my wife passed her behind the wheel test and received her driving license, she is financially independent now.
To be honest they provided from A-Z to us. Therefore, I am highly recommending to every new immigrant they should get benefit of these days which they are receiving benefits and support from Santa Clara County and specially from JFSSV. This is a great chance for us to take support benefit of this situation. And once we stand in our foot, let JFSSV to support other immigrants, if we are always depending on JFSSV and do not create empty space for the new arrival so how JFSSV will be able to serve new arrival, we must work hard and must have our own income.
Once again, I am grateful. JFSSV staff have always helped us with patience and an open mind, and their treatment was kind.
