I so appreciate the kindness shown to me when I arrived at 920 for a 930 appointment to get a handicapped parking placard. I realized I had left my paperwork at home after a 30” drive. The front desk person said not to worry, to return w the paperwork and they would still see me. This was literally the nicest thing that happened to me in weeks. People in bureaucratic positions don’t often get recognized for their compassion but I would like this person and others who demonstrate caring and kindness in a world that is often much too harsh. My humble and sincere gratitude.

These rude bums have been coasting for 4 years now. Instead of taking walk ins like before Covid it's appointment only. That means they help less people and sit around being lazy. Hopefully the president will come in and lay off or fire these losers and start over with some fresh people not these zombies with a attitude.

I'm writing to share my experience with the Jefferson County DMV office located on Bradford Street. Earlier this week, I called to see if I could schedule an appointment during my three-day stay in town. Fortunately, I got a slot today at 9:30 am. The journey was quite the adventure, as I navigated through a snowy, slick drive on highways, maneuvering carefully around multiple wrecks. Despite these challenges, I arrived an hour late and joined the line with other patrons. The front desk texted me a number, and to my relief, it only took a few minutes before my number was called by a wonderfully kind and helpful staff member. This amazing individual understood my needs perfectly and even offered to extend my temporary tag if necessary. I'm incredibly grateful for the experience and the exceptional service provided by the team. This encounter has transformed my perception of the DMV, and I will happily share this positive experience with others. Thank you all for turning my day around and making it memorable!

This is second time I am going to this location to register my vehicle, first time I went it was an amazing experience. Over many years dealing with dmv in Jefferson County I thought clerk just happened to be in good mood, but I had even better experience today 01/16/2025 11:15 am. Clerk at counter number 7 was so pleasant and helpful, I could not believe my eyes and my ears. Thank you very much for your help and your amazing attitude!!!

The people who work here are rude and need to realize their attitudes are not needed.
I went in to register a car for the first time, the lady was incredibly rude when asking about the emissions test. She couldn’t find it on file. Turns out- I was right that the dealership did it and turned it in. Instead of talking to me respectfully and realizing I had NOTHING to do with this error, she was rude and had such a nasty attitude. Lady at counter number 12, aka Amanda…..Shame on you!!!!
