It's been a while since thing to my favorite library. I absolutely love books, hard copy bound books. There are real treasures to be found, adventures to take you away and all sorts of learning experiences. They focus on youth groups with readings and other activities. They have computers for use, it is usually very clean and quite. The ladies at the front desk are polite, kind and helpful. I will be going back more often. Unexpected life events kept me from enjoying but hopefully all that will change now. I recommend this Jacksonville Public library for all ages.

They are extremely friendly and have lots of activities and programs for kids, teens and adults. The have a large selection of books, videos and read alouds. Have computers for members and also can print in color or B&W for only .10 cents a page. The large children's area is downstairs for convenience. They also have an online library.

My fiance and I love the library and visit the Anniston one several times a month .We occasionally go to the Oxford one as well. We actually live in Jacksonville so I said why don't we check out our library and get a DVD for tonight. After filling out the forms. We are informed we can't check out a DVD for 3 months due to a probation period. I asked "Is that ever waived? My fiance is a veteran and we have a perfect return record at Anniston and Oxford." She said that I could speak with the director who was standing next to her. I asked her and she said "why?' I said because it's three months she said" AND' so rudely. She informed me they don't waive the period and they don't check with other libraries. Her demeanor was so rude I was taken aback. We are pushing 50. We are not kids and I didn't like being treated that way. It did make me appreciate the area libraries more. Anniston and Oxford have great staff and the Anniston director is wonderful. You also can check out DVDs at both the day you get your library card.

Love this library. Everyone is very helpful and polite. I took my 4 yr old to the story time. He had a lot of fun making a paper hat with stickers.

They only let you stay at a table when you bring in your own laptop and don't use their computers for one hour...that needs to change for as long as your quiet, temp checks out ok, Covid free, wearing our masks, you need to be able to stay for as long as you need to for using the wifi for taking online tests for the college that your attending...

Great deal of a selection of books, movies etc. Very clean and computer access was not hard to get and it was very quiet and they also do temp checks. They require masks and also supply them at the front desk.
