Touring potential nursing homes is not my idea of fun but if it's getting close to that time when you might need one, consider Ivy Park at Roseville. Nicole, their marketing director, was very kind and helpful and the facility is at the top of our list.

Ivy Park at Roseville is easily the most charming senior living communities in Roseville, if not all of Sacramento. The staff is warm and welcoming. The residents are active, welcoming and curious. They are so fun to talk to. And the food! Just had lunch there and thought I was in an upscale restaurant. This is definitely the place where I would like my mom and dad to live. The sales person, Flor, gave me the best tour; she was so patient with all of my questions. She invited my parents to spend the day here and participate in some of the activities. I can't wait to get back!

Ivy Park is amazing! Every single staff person is warm, friendly, and attentive. You can't pay people to be like that. The staff knows all the resident's names, too!

The food is amazing, and there are wonderful activities. 98% of the RESIDENTS are alert and outgoing. I never imagined Assisted Living could be so wonderful.

My mom loves it, too. She is so happy. Her apartment is beautiful. As her daughter, I am thankful that she is eating well, gets her meds, is happy, SAFE, and is finally socializing.

Thank you, Ivy Park!

Has absolutely NO regard for safety of their residents. Only department adequately, or overstaffed, is Administration and the Dining Room. Repeated written reports of unsafe practices and hazards ignored FOR MONTHS. Served food I was allergic to on three separate occasions AFTER reminding dining room staff of my known food allergies. Items were removed with paper napkins and was informed I could eat the food on my plate. Care taker dropped a medication on the floor. picked it up, and expected me to take the pill. There’s more.

Very pleased with the administration, dining hall staff and the great variety of foods served just the way you like it...and the care staff is exceptional as well. Many activities available including field trips, card games, entertainment and much more. The atmosphere is warm and caring with many smiles and friendly staff.

This assisted living facility should be rated 10 stars. My Dad moved into Ivy Park a couple days, ago. After touring several assisted living facilities in the Roseville/Rocklin area my family and I found Ivy Park to be the "premiere" facility. Impeccable living conditions, top notch compassionate and dependable staff, a dining menu created daily by a top chef, a host of fun daily activities, and the residents are friendly and respectful and welcoming. My Dad has already made a few friends. I feel comfortable knowing that my Dad is living in an environment where he is well cared for and respected. Thank you Ivy Park at Roseville for operating a "premiere" assisted living facility!

I am adding to my review again. This is now March of 2024. I have had to report Ivy Park to the Calif Dept of Social Services twice now since January. My first complaint was about how they handled my dad’s Covid illness this January - two months ago. The complaint was found to be substantiated.
I just had to file again over a major safety issue. I came to see dad and found him walking the driveway completely lost. He wears an alert that should notify them if he tries to leave the building. The system was not working and no one was watching the door. When I asked when the system stopped working I was told they did not know. It is not something that they routinely check! That is just wrong. I spent a few days wondering if it was fixed. I was told it was working. I went and checked dad’s alert and it was NOT working! Are they just lying to me? Their communication on this has been awful. The Director has shown no concern the past two days. The safety of the residents at the facility he is in charge of should be top of mind to him. Also, the alert system is only at the front door, nothing at the side doors that lead to garden gates that are often left open. I am looking to move dad ASAP. It will be hard for him to move ( so I had hesitated) , but his safety has to come first. If your loved one needs no assistance this facility might work for them as just Retirement Living. Do NOT rely Ivy Park for actual assistance or safety.
When dad moved in 4 years ago this facility was named Sierra Pointe and was wonderful. Since then Oakmont has bought it, the new name is Ivy Park and it has gotten much worse. I am actively looking for a new place for dad. Management does NOT care about their residents. Management won’t return calls or emails. I have been totally shocked recently at the lack of care and respect for residents and their families . There are major safety issues - from very poor Covid procedures to worn carpet in common areas and an elevator that are trip hazards. ( I have reported these multiple times). Sick residents are ignored. Expect it to take at least 45 minutes for an alert button to be responded to. ( that can be life or death) Card keys not available ( after multiple requests by many) . Christine may put on a good sales pitch…..but all that glitters is not gold. I thought that I had found the best place for dad…and for a while I had. But I have completely changed my mind. ( as have some other residents who have left) If I are you looking for a place for a loved one - I would definitely look further.
