They have a decent variety of clothes and shoes, but their prices are high for a thrift store. They wanted $18 for a paperback book about memes. I didn't purchase anything on the day I went.

This shop is really cute and well organized.
However! You pay full retail for used merchandise.

Cute little gem in town but I haven’t been going back as much because the prices have gotten so outrageous. These items are donated to you, for free, and the purpose of a thrift store is to have somewhere for those to shop who cannot afford normal prices. Charging $125 for a jacket that you got for FREE is so beyond unethical. $30 for a purse. $50 for a pair of shoes. Seriously?!

I understand they’re name brand or new with tags, but again, you got them for FREE. It’s not a resale consignment store, it’s a thrift store. I can find cheaper clothes at Plato’s Closet with the same name brands they’re insanely upcharging.

There are multiple nearby stores have all of their pieces at a flat rate (i.e tshirts $1.50, jackets $5, shoes $3, etc. etc.) as Island Thrift does for the most part, but these other stores aren’t inflating the nicer pieces for their benefit. They just put the items out on the racks and call it a day, fair game, first come first serve. That’s how it should be, it shouldn’t be a cash grab. It just feels so wrong.

Have a donation jar for those who are more fortunate and can afford the prices, but don’t take it out on the ones who cannot afford retail value on these clothes.

I absolutely love this store. Tracy has been here for years and she truly has a way of showing you how God works in her life by shining so bright. Thank you Tracy for all your hard work and thank you for just a mini of blessings that you speak on everybody.

Nice little thrift shop. The lady working the register was very sweet and friendly. They have things sectioned off well in a few rooms.

Great store! Small but full. Reasonable prices (all clothing is priced the same, as in all shirts one price, all new clothes one price, all jeans one price etc) and they had a great selection of books as well! The people there were friendly but not up in your space. We would love to go back!

It is a small little shop that they have filled to the rafters with lots of things to buy. Unfortunately I have only walked out with one thing in the multiple stops I have made here. I am a little put off by the pricing on most items. I guess it is due to the location. I think one issue might be that the items they have priced at a good bargain must walk away very quickly. The place is usually pretty busy when I drive by. The lady at the register was pretty friendly when I did make the one purchase. I will try again but as a thrift store it is a middle of the road type for me. I am used to walking out with an arm full of finds from the places in Foley and Pensacola, so it is hard for me to give it more than a few stars. I will return though and if things change, I will bump up my star rating.
