THE BEST! We had a very happy surprise this year and suddenly needed to buy a whole lot of baby gear on a tight budget. This place is clean, thoughtfully laid-out, and has a high turnover rate of items at fair prices. This handmade rocking cradle was one of our favorite finds. Just read through the reviews and see how much they also do to help folks in more dire need than us. I love ICM.

This is our preferred charity to take our estate donations. The staff is quite helpful, and the variety of quality goods are well organized , priced, and displayed within their resale shop. We have also purchased nice items here at very reasonable prices. If you want your donations to benefit the optimum end purpose, this is a great place to donate!

Normally I have an amazing experience shopping here. The ladies have always been so nice and helpful. However, today for some reason unbeknownst to myself or even other customers, Leslie- as the receipt showed, was not only unkind but blatantly rude and mean. She was throwing things and being unnecessarily cold. She almost broke a mug I was purchasing that I had to move out of the way since she was just shoving and throwing things around. The customers behind us actually apologized for her callous and absurd behavior and attitude toward us. It was appalling to say the least.

This is a fun little place. I am a pretty avid thrifter...that being said, this isn't the place to run in quasi relying on finding something. Free up some time and dig around and you will find something that you don't need and certainly wouldn't pay retail for....like my new bow tie.

I hate I even have to say this, as I've been coming to this establishment for years faithfully. Even before they changed locations and have always loved their philosophy of helping the community and families who are struggling. It was one of the only thrift stores I didn't mind paying a little extra for because I believed they gave back to those in need.

However, today was the last straw. My husband has always expressed his discomfort that the ladies that work there never seem to be happy to see anyone and give off weird vibes to their customers. Even to the point of huffing and puffing loudly so everyone hears that something was misplaced somewhere on a rack. I would defend them and keep coming back.

But honestly, I'm heart broken to say that I agree with him now. I was treated like an inconvenience by a woman who before was always super nice to me. I get we all have off days, but the coldness and readiness in which she wanted to prove me wrong on an honest mistake over a sign I misread... Had me feeling uncomfortably sad as someone who has immense difficulty defending herself.

I understand that there are no negotiations in prices. I was even appreciative of a raffle discount event they were having, even though she was cold to me then too when I genuinely asked what was going on and how it worked. But when I expressed how I thought all of the collectible dolls were 50% off, she could not even hide her annoyance with me and went to prove me wrong in such a cold, condescending way, I felt like she found pleasure in proving me wrong. She definitely proved her point by shoving her phone in my face to show me a picture of the sign I genuinely, mistakenly misread in excitement. I wasn't causing a fuss about it, I was actually inwardly shocked it said anything differently than I how I read it. There was no conflict to be had about it.

All in all, I've defended this establishment enough and should've believed my husband when he said it seems the workers are genuinely unhappy to be there or to interact with anyone. It's no longer a comfort spot for me. No longer a place I go to and browse as a self care treat.

I wish everyone well. Truthfully. I hope they continue their charity work for others, but hopefully with more compassion than what they treated me with.

Go up
