Our delegation from Des Moines Iowa - via Borderlinks in Tuscan - accompanied a team from Humane Borders while they checked water levels and cleanliness of 3 water tanks. We made about a 100 mile round trip.

This is a VERY dedicated group of people doing what they can to try to get water to people dying in the desert. There will always be migrants ... until the "why" of people are migrating is eliminated ... it doesn't matter how high the fence or how dangerous the desert ... people will do what they need to do in hopes of feeding their families.

Thank you Humane Borders for your incredibly important work.
