Hired Chris and Team to pour us a large patio and shed slab. They even completed the old deck tear out which wouldve taken me days and valuable time. I hired not based on price but the guarantee of quality work. I am definitely a pay more for quality work vs. Cheaper price. You get what you pay for. While the patio and shed slab turned out beautiful within 24 hrs the patio slab had cracked in several places and was discolored. Communication with Chris and team was great. There was an issue with the cement from cement supplier which caused this. Chris, for not a single penny more ripped out 3/4 of the patio and repoured this to correct and make us happy. We are very happy with the results and corrective action taken to make this right. The team was great, workmanship is as expected and we look forward to enjoying this addition to the backyard. My wife and I recently purchased a home with a failing front porch with a old coal room underneath. We needed a doorway blocked up and a old repair job redone. HR&E completed these tasks before demo was complete. After demo we ran into a rotted out sill plate and needed more extensive work Chris said no worries we do that too, with our eyes closed 👍. Within 3 days of us finding this unforeseen issue our joists we’re on jacks and the repair was in process, 2 days later it was complete, the basement walls waterproofed and ready for backfill. We couldn’t be any happier with the service and responsiveness we received from HR&E. In these time when even getting ahold of a contractor is difficult let alone getting the work done in quick time is unheard of these guys did it. I will need concrete work in the near future and I will without a doubt be calling HR&E to do the work. Crew was respectful of our property and very professional, I do construction myself and that alone means a lot👍 Nice work! Do not hesitate to call this company if you need foundation or concrete work.

Everything looks great! I especially like the brick choice for our raised flower beds, the bricklayer did a great job installing it. The new patio is wonderful and much improved. It was a long wait (quote/deposit was in March, actual job completed early Sept) but it was worth it. Chris always responded to my update inquiries and once the job started, they were able to finish it in a relatively timely manner.

2 yrs later and we really regret using this company. Poured a patio and steps. Patio was supposed to be rounded. They didn’t put forms in that spot so by the time I found the square corner it was too late to fix. To make it right they gave me a discount on a driveway extension. See the photos of that mess. Lots of flaking and holes. Other contractors told me they didn’t float the finish enough to work out the air. The steps did not turn out well but Chris said it was already sealed and to wait two years and he would come back and fix it. Over two months of trying and he won’t come so now I’m getting quotes to have it fixed. Very expensive job and costing me almost as much to fix what I can.
