Bea Hover staff and director Patty stepped up cares and went over and above caring for my patient as her needs changed right into end of life. Our mother moved into Hover Assisted Living in 2015. We had looked at approximately 10 places before deciding on Hover, it was the best decision. The staff is absolutely amazing, from the people working in the office, to the caregivers, kitchen staff and all others, they are so caring and kind.

The community is always clean and well kept, they truly have the residents best interest at heart. During the Covid-19 crisis they had zero cases in their community. This is a huge testament to the staff, who worked tirelessly to keep all residents safe.

I would highly recommend Hover Assisted Living to anyone looking for a place for their parent to live.

I have had the pleasure of touring the Hover Green Houses and meeting the excellent staff they have. There is a very warm feel to each house, from having private sleeping and shower areas to being able to sit together for a meal. At the Hover Green Houses it is obvious that the staff genuinely cares about your loved one and is invested in their well being. When the time comes with my own mom, I would not hesitate to have her join the Hover Green House family.

We toured the Beatrice Hover community in Longmont with my mother and found the environment very comfortable and the staff to be extremely loving, with a caring and service oriented attitude. We chose to be placed on the waiting list because of its affordability when compared to other senior living care offerings in the community. Being that Hover is a CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) it was very important to us that care could be given through any stage of life or physical need without leaving the campus. The elders I encountered in the Independent Living and Assisted Living buildings were not shy about sharing their pride and how they had individualized their living environments and it was wonderful to see them so happy. I also met several residents in the Hover Green Houses, Skilled Nursing, and so pleased to see the homes are run as an elder-in-charge community with meaningful relationships being developed and nurtured. The houses are beautiful homes and give elders the opportunity to participate in daily tasks like cooking and be involved playing games or having fun with crafts. The Hover Green House skilled nursing is so nice I want to live there! I can’t recommend the Beatrice community highly enough!

This is such a solid community! The decisions and focus are always on the residents. Their priorities are what is best for your loved one...and the Employees are like an extension of family. From the welcoming presents of Sandy at the front door... to the unwavering leadership from Susan B. you will know your loved one is well cared for. To me it seems staff retention is really exceptional as well. I've seen the same care staff here for years. Thank you for serving our elders well Beatrice Hover!

A few years ago I had to help my aging mother decide on a skilled nursing facility where she would spend her remaining days. It was a miserable task. Today I am so glad that we in Longmont have the Charles and Beatrice Hover Green House Homes for skilled nursing as a remarkable choice. The new homes are fabulous, but even more, the staff and the care they provide is remarkable. Kudos to the Hover Senior Living Community for being Green House adopters! Tom Moore

Our family's experience at Beatrice Hover Assisted Living was heartbreaking, disappointing, and at times egregious. My grandmother spent two and a half years at this facility and we thought this would be a good fit for her; she suffered a massive stroke in 2004 and miraculously survived, although severely impaired, not being able to speak a lot and with limited mobility, along with other challenges. When her needs grew to the point our family was no longer able to facilitate her care, we made the difficult decision to place her in an assisted living facility. We ultimately chose Beatrice Hover, which we felt was clean, inviting, close to our own homes, and would provide her with a good quality of life, when we weren't able to be with her. This was in May of 2016, at first things were great, the staff, caretakers, and nurses were thoughtful, caring, and knowledgeable. The ladies at the front desk were always amazing, as were most of the caretakers and nurses, however, there seemed to be quite a bit of turnover with the staff. The biggest issue our family had was with the director, who was completely unprofessional, showed no empathy towards our beloved grandmother, and was down-right rude and extremely unpleasant. We unfortunately, also suspected physical abuse towards our grandmother as well. One day in May of 2018 we showed up for our daily visit and she had a black eye and bruising on her body. We never received a phone call that something to this magnitude had occurred, and when we asked the staff what happened, the response was, "Oh, she fell out of bed." Carpet does not usually cause a black eye. From that point on our grandma was a different person, she wouldn't eat and since she could not verbally express herself, she couldn't directly tell us what happened, making her extremely vulnerable to something like this. She deteriorated from there, passing away just a few months later. If we had to do it over again, I would NEVER place her there and would highly discourage others from doing so.
