So this part of tent city.
There isn't anything here for someone on the streets but if you have a home they have plenty of second hand clothes for women.
I took a man down but could only get a pair of ski pants and a in house comforter.

I went and signed up at 137 homeless shelter and was told to be at the tents at 630
So I got there in line and was denied for no reason and felt like it was typical of some people.
So I don't appreciate getting lied to for no reason.

Alma in the donations receiving dept was extremely rude. There was a confusion about a pack n play (i understood they don’t take these kinds of items), I was asking about birthline (another non profit down the hall) she got very short and snippy. I told them I’ll be right back for the item after grabbing another bag of clothes, and she stormed it out to my car and argued with me. This is unacceptable. Remember you’re already working with vulnerable parts of our population this type of treatment is unacceptable.

Amazing staff, I have never had so many kind and caring non judging people be so helpful. They are very tentative and easy to communicate with. Shannon was amazing. Great little boutique! Get your taxes done for free by trained volunteers! Join a group of women over fifty for a free, live chat once a month (courtesy of mostly-retired therapist Beth Firestein, PhD), sit in the lobby and meditate. Such nice people, just some concern on the huge cracks on the second story....
