Horrible not clean very unprofessional caseworkers this is the worst facility I have ever been to it should close immediately bad food and no respect for people with disabilities the worst is how horrible the facility smelled in the female room it made me sick please stay away from this place the people who work at this horrible place do not care

Just keep it real I was in a mental health crisis and was denied service because I had coughed once I lost my voice from a domestic dispute that I had in the hotel internet rushed to psychiatric hospital you're telling me that I have a cold I was discriminated on I just got out of the hospital nothing on the paper said I had a cold anything viral going on

While they are not perfect they do generally care and work with their clients to help people.Their properties are nice and well maintained especially Folsom Oaks. It's unfortunate that they can't do more for the vast amount of people in need but they do try. As a resident of their Folsom property I can say my experience has been positive for the 13 years I have lived here.

Hope is truly a godsend, they got me off the streets and helped me get into my own apartment. The PSC are amazing, they literally helped truth my life around! I am so blessed to have hope in my life , they gave me a reason to want to keep living, I am forever grateful.

This a real review from a person who stayed at the warming center Auburn Blvd location 3-7-23
I arrived at the center and immediately received rude treatment I was told I had to leave my belongings outside when anyone can just walk off with my stuff i was given a small ziplock bag to put my phone charger in and what Else could fit i went in and the guy rudely said lay right there i asked who can i talk to to fibd resources due to being newly homeless none off the staff wanted to help told me to wait untill morinng the staff men and woman are vary rude i canr belive they treat ppl bad ive been to jail and got more respect from A C.O. Then the staff at this place they give u no. Food or a shower this is worse than jail no wonder a lot of people chose to brace the cold then go to this place this is honestly a big waste of tax payers money
This was between 9:30pm to 9:45pm that's how long it took me to realize this place is a joke

I fired my first social worker, he seemed lazy and said they didn't offer any of the things I've read they could. Then it took 5 people to get me my sleeping meds after TWO MONTHS OF INSOMNIA. There didn't seem to be any communication between staff or responsibility taken for how I was let down. I fired HOPE, too. None of these RST teams know what they're doing... they just push paperwork all day for a paycheck. I've fallen through the cracks and been given (I feel) delinquent services from El Hogar, HOPE and Visions. It took county access 8 months to call me back. And don't ever try to get help in Placer County. After moving there, I slept on their front porch for FOUR MONTHS. They passed me by every day, not offering me their services, or getting me the medical help I obviously needed. Neither did they enroll me in ANY of their programs. Even after a psych ward stay. (And if you're not in the shelter, you can't shower or laundry, like other shelters do.) However, I have been to TLCS respite CENTER twice and they were forgiving, didn't judge, and gave me tons of shelter numbers, which I called for 8 hours and all housing was closed. They couldn't believe after all my hard work to find housing, day after day, why couldn't I find anything?

Called to see if I could go to this place for respite services. I was rudely told that this is not a homeless shelter and there are no openings. I am not homeless. I just needed a little extra support. What a joke. I'm glad I worked my stuff out on my own. That's what I get for trying to trust the mental health services of Sacramento county.
