My father-in-law hired Home Instead to care for my mother-in-law with end stage dementia. She is petite, weighing about 90 pounds, and is bed bound. She requires full assistance with drinking, feeding, cleaning, and turning to prevent skin breakdown. First employee came out staying only three hours, when they're scheduled four. She took an hour to change a soiled brief, then and hour and a half to feed my mother-in-law lunch. Second employee came out and did slightly better. Both stated that they were not trained to provide this type of care. Both refused to come back and stated that my father-in-law and wife were "mean" to them and "talked to them like they didn't know anything." Not sure how trying to help someone with no training or experience in providing care learn is being mean to them. Now we're looking elsewhere for help caring for my mother-in-law while my wife and I are at work. Very disappointed given the number of positive reviews on here. Could not recommend.

We have had such a wonderful experience using Home Instead Senior Care. They are reliable and work with you when you need flexible care. We've always been able to contact them to ask questions. They even helped us with questions after breaking our elderly relative out of the nursing home. The caregivers they send are friendly and invested in the care for the individual. The seldom times we had small issues, they were addressed and we didn't have them anymore. Professional and well managed.

We were fortunate to find Home Instead when my mom's health declined. It seemed the need to reschedule and ask for more help was a weekly occurrence but the office was able to accommodate all our needs. The helpers were wonderful. I don't know what we would have done without their help. I always recommend Home Instead!

Home Instead Senior Care of Morristown provided exceptional care for my father in his last year. My father’s case was particularly difficult given his lack of mobility and the special demands of a stroke patient. The HI team was exceedingly diligent, addressing his many needs while building a personal bond that improved his spirits in the face of his physical deterioration. The support also extended to the corporate office which took a hands on approach to addressing the many challenges around scheduling, medical equipment, and lack of local family support. My endorsement comes with the highest recommendation.

Home Instead was a Godsend when we realized that we needed round-the-clock care. They are not the least expensive option but they are responsible for covering any gaps in coverage. If there is a sickness or emergency, they cover it. Be advised, however, you must be vigilant and aware of the caregivers. As with all businesses there are excellent employees and those that get by with doing as little as possible. Luckily we had mostly excellent service. Complaints from us were handled swiftly and without incident. I would recommend their services without hesitation, if you can be available from time to time to witness care from all staff members!

My family and I used Home Instead Senior Care of Morristown for my mother and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The entire staff from the office to the caregivers were very helpful and caring. I can’t imagine going through that time with any other group of individuals. I could never thank them enough for all the love, support, and care they gave my family, myself, and my mother.... We were in Tennessee for a wedding. Home Instead sent a wonderful caregiver to help us with my aging mother. They asked a lot of questions about Mom in order to send the perfect match...and they did! Very friendly and accommodating.

Home Instead was a Life saver for me and my family. They took great care of my family member which in turn helped us to be able to live a normal life and have peace of mind. I highly recommend them.
