I posted a legitimate question and it has not been answered in three (3) weeks and they do not answer the phone. I'm going Elk Hunting at Old Holy Cross City mid-October and I wanted to know if 727 road closures were repaired North of Missouri Lakes Trailhead. I will find out soon on my own with no help from this so called 'Holy Cross Ranger Station.'

Went here looking for info on a hut I had rented for a weekend. Kate Miller pulled out all the stops and got me multiple maps to help me find where I needed to park and hike to get to my hut. She was very helpful and professional during the whole thing, and made my hike go super smooth!

Was there about the same time as Laura Heiden. The map bins were empty when we were there also. Even the USFS employees living there were unable to help us but they were friendly towards us. Maybe without the lockdown Summer season 2022 will be different. One can only hope!
