In the world of special needs, it can be difficult to find a safe and loving environment for your child to participate in activities. Helpful Harmonies has been an absolute blessing for my son with autism. He adores Haleigh and looks forward to each session with her. Haleigh not only individualizes each session specific to my son’s needs but she uses her gift of music to help create songs and videos in order to help my son to be more independent with his activities of daily living. We have seen great progress incorporating music into our son’s daily social interaction and life skills. Thank you Haleigh for always going above and beyond. You never treat our son as just part of your job, but give 110% with a constant smile on your face. Thank you for serving this community. You are truly making a difference.

I can’t even begin to describe how much Helpful Harmonies has changed mine and my son’s life. Haileigh is such a wonderful, joyful, and loving person. She has helped my son flourish and reach heights I didn’t know he was capable of. She’s very attentive and is always quick to respond to any questions I have. My son and I love her so much and are so grateful to her!

My son is severely, non-verbal autistic. We were referred to Ms. Haleigh by his BCBA, because of his love for music and our interest in trying to improve his functional speech. She has been phenomenal with my son, who loves going to see her! She is able to get so much language out of him through her therapy sessions! We are elated that we found her!

My son absolutely LOVES coming to music therapy with Miss Sophie! She is always so kind and understanding of his needs. We started with Helpful Harmonies in hopes that it would improve his communication and language skills, and I have seen definite improvement since we’ve started! ❤️

Haleigh and Sophie are just SO GOOD at what they do! From the welcoming warmth they have when you first come in to the individual care they put in to meeting the kiddos where they are at and working with them at their level…it’s just unmatched. It was so cute to watch and see what my kids would be drawn to each class and what songs they would hum or sing after their sessions—some of the instruments were so fun and engaging I had to order some of my own for the house! I could truly go on and on about how wonderful it was to be a part of the summer sessions through HHMT. To know your children are in such good hands and watching their skill, curiosity, and confidence grow…there’s nothing better ❤️

Haleigh is phenomenal! We adore her and are so thankful for all that she does. My daughter loves going to her appointments and is now using the techniques that she has learned from Haleigh without prompting. Haleigh has helped her immensely with her anxiety and coping skills. Haleigh is an amazing, talented music therapist. She has been working with my son who has limited language and moderate autism for almost 1 year. We always suspected he was interested in music and piano, but could never find someone who could make things interesting and reach him on his level. She has brought out his musical abilities and has even started teaching him beginning piano, and also *creates* songs to help with life skills or anxiety issues. She has an innate ability to know when he needs a push or when to back off, or what he needs for his sessions. We feel so lucky to have found her.
