The name of this place is misleading. It should be called “Help for Abused Women” because if you are a battered male, they will turn you away but only after they scoff and accuse you of being the abuser. 1 in 3 victims of domestic abuse are men and Help for Abused... women refuses to admit that. The stigma associated with battered men needs to change. This “organization” should either change its name or offer the same services to battered men.

Not really sure how they help but the lady filled out divorce papers due to a brain injury. Other than that, not sure what else they help with. Smaller town with less stressful event.
