What a wonderful community of families. Sitting on more than 350 acres it has such an amazing setting. Quiet, peaceful, serene. Folks have to option of sharing communal meals. Phase 2 is in the works! Would love to have a home in a setting like this.

I have lived at Heartwood for more than ten years. My children have grown up here. It has been a wonderful safe place to raise a family and to have good close friends. The community is conscious and caring and the land is beautiful with trails, forest, farm land and more.

My wife and I have been involved with Heartwood from its beginning. It has been a labor of love. We lived in
Heartwood for over 10 years. Our children grew up and moved away and our home became way too big for the two of us. We sold our home to a young family that needed lots of room. We still stay in touch with Heartwood. If you were thinking about moving to the Durango area Heartwood is a wonderful place to raise a family.

This has been the best place ever to be. I have friends, dinner partners, hiking, snowshoeing and walking trails all over, organic produce in the season (grown right here). My kids are psyched I live here because they know I am happy and enjoying my nature-type life.
