I was sitting in line just like everyone else and I saw they were handing out six packs of Coke, which I don't even drink it myself but that's beside the point. It was for my Mom, and she does. I heard someone say something negative about my dog being in the car next thing you know I saw them taking that stuff inside. I figured they'd prepacked for the last few people which I was one. I had a box place in my trunk I assumed it had what everyone else had in theirs. To my surprise there was no Coke in there. it would be one thing if I hadn't seen it but it's obvious that they put up the stuff they want for themselves when they get low. And like someone else mentioned ,the things they did give me were so random and didn't even go together. It was truly a waste of gas .I think I got like a bag of rice a can of kidney beans two bags of grapes that were on their way out anyways. also I don't think their personal preference or feelings towards dogs should dictate what you get in your box ..I wasn't going to let my dog hurt any of them.... she just made them uncomfortable.

I am not appreciative. Believe me; they are trying to do as well as they can for those in need. But if you go in the 5pm to 6:30pm pantry, you will get nothing you can use. I was given 16 hotdog buns but no hotdogs A box of taco shells but nothing to put on them. The gallon of milk as and box of cherios was the only thing i can use. They gave a bag of flaming hot cheetoes and two packets of valveta cheese sauce that were jalapeno flavored . I have a stomach ulser and sadly cannot eat hot foods. It seems to me that they give out things from other foodbanks that no one else wants. I appreciate any food, but unless yo u live very close, its not worth the gasoline.
