I just completed my second stay at this Hospital. Anytime that I have to go back to a hospital I'm going to Sky Ridge! Housekeeping, room service, the food, the CNAs, the nursing staff and the doctors are all awesome! I'm not sure what they call the area I was in it might be something as simple as the fifth floor, but I was in room 5103 and I am probably one of the worst patients that somebody could have. Not because I'm a bad person I just have extremely bad medical problems that cause me to be a pain in the ass. I can't use my hands, I can't feel anything in my arms in my legs, I take a boat load of medication, I need help with absolutely everything and they helped me every single one of them and every time I needed it without making me feel like I was a pain in the ass, which as I already mentioned previously I am. Their phones ring off the hook, there are patients needing help everywhere and they all get help and they never let you know how busy they are. The reason I'm mentioning this stuff is because other hospitals in the Denver area that I've stayed at are very challenged at doing these things. At some of the other hospitals I've waited hours for a glass of water and had medication 2 hours later than I was supposed to and with Parkinson's disease that really sucks not that it doesn't with other elements. At the other hospitals all I hear is I'm so busy I'm so busy and that's assuming you can find somebody to complain about how busy they are. At one Denver area Hospital there was a day one person showed up for the whole staff and it wasn't during covid so they all weren't out sick they were just understaffed. We all know it can be hard to hire people in the medical field because there's a shortage of them but it can also be a problem if a lot of them just don't want to work at those places. They had some new people at Sky Ridge but so many of them have been there 8 years or 7 years or 15. Some of them are so dedicated I kind of wonder whether they go home at all because it seems like they're there so often. And that's a whole other thing if people aren't happy they surely don't want to work any extra time. Skyridge is not perfect by any means and there are some good people at the other places but I do feel that there are more great people at Skyridge than any of the other places. One thing you probably noticed that I mentioned earlier was the food, they really do have decent food which is not the easiest thing to say for most hospitals. I do need to mention that I also feel Skyridge is better at patient confidentiality than most of the other places. A different hospital that I stayed at not too long ago for a month you could hear some of the staff shouting hey mister so-and-so your arthritis and your hemorrhoid and your cancer or whatever it is you could almost hear the patience life story along with their name being shouted down the hallways. I didn't hear that once at Skyridge. I apologize for all the typos as I mentioned earlier I can't use my hands so speech to text is what it is. I was in Skyridge for 10 days. My overall experience was above what I expected. The care was always focused on the best interest of my health and getting me well to return home. The nurses were knowledgeable, compassionate and their clinical skills never disappointed. As for the doctors and specialist nothing less than outstanding. I will continue to keep my specialty doctors for future years. Thank you for your amazing health care system, you delivered!

So happy we chose the Women’s Hospital at Sky Ridge to deliver our baby boy! Everything was so smooth and quick even though we arrived with me in extreme pain and at 3am lol. We also took their birth class which was very informative. All the nurses and doctors were so attentive, respectful and nice. We will definitely choose to give birth here again when the time comes! Thank you Team!

I was in the ER and then admitted to the hospital for a total of five days last week. I was so impressed with the level of patient care I received every step of the way. From the ER docs, to the admitting staff, certainly the wonderful nurses, and everyone I had interaction with. It was incredible. Everyone was so polite and professional And took such great care of me. The food was really good too! I felt like I was the only patient in the hospital. I would highly recommend that anyone in the area who needs medical care, go to Skyridge. The room and bed were so comfortable. All the facilities are top-notch.

I had surgery 3 days ago and the entire staff from the front lobby and all the nursing staff were incredible. They all took very good care of me. My main nurses, for my two day stay, were Marijke and Aizlinne and they were incredible. Natalia was also incredibly helpful and kind. I didn't get all the names of the staff that helped but they all worked as one cohesive team. My OR nurse Lee was also kind and patient. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone needing excellent care.

I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience delivering my daughter at Sky ridge . From start to finish, the care I received was exceptional! But I have to give a huge shoutout to Sue ( a nurse at sky ridge) she truly made all the difference in my stay. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care stood out in every way. She was there when I needed reassurance, comfort, and even a laugh during such an overwhelming time. Her dedication and compassion didn’t go unnoticed, and I’ll forever be grateful for the support she gave me. Sue went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of and answered every question I had without making me feel judged in any way! ( and I had a lot of questions!)

My only negative experience was taking the photos through Bella baby. I don't recommend it. It was very stressful and the lady I had to take the photos was overwhelming and made me immediately regret it. And the pictures didn’t even turn out well enough to make it worth it.

Talk about a hospital full of nurses and doctors with no bedside manners… I see these reviews and now it all makes sense. We were in the women’s hospital for a week and we will never return. We left feeling very unsafe.

I definitely think a lot of it is race and prejudice driven. Nurse Janet and Paige in postpartum were awesome. Nurse Ann in delivery was also awesome.

Nurse Julie and Marla are absolute jokes. They left our room and forgot to turn off their phone and made several disrespectful comments. Keep in mind this was just after the introduction, Julie didn’t do any exam or checking at all. She made the comments just after seeing us. She left the room and said “another over dramatic parent, she also looks like her hygiene is bad.” They definitely have areas set up by race too… all of the white people were on one side and all Hispanic and black people were in another hall.

We confronted her and she tried to play nice. We told the nurse lead Marla and the 1st thing she said was are you room 2110? Julie already reported the incident… I bet she’s did because we already asked for the directors number. She also said “it was unprofessional, but we definitely weren’t talking about your room.”

But why would you say that about any room? It doesn’t matter what room it is… that shouldn’t be said about any patient EVER! The only reason you make those comments just based on how you think a person looks, that’s race driven. Absolutely ridiculous.

This is a HIPAA violation and we are seriously considering taking this further.

The director did come talk to us, but I doubt any thing was said.

Triage was also a joke. Every single nurse there was rude.

Just amazed with this hospital!!! Everyone was so nice, professional, helpful, wonderful…. For my first baby it was the best experience anyone could ask for! I did have my baby around shift changed so a lot of nurses, but then there was nurses helping out other nurses! Just amazing team work and organization!!! Will definitely go back! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
