I dont think your comment about the place 'smelling like feet or dogs' was appropriate. When volunteers work so hard in and out of the building , hot weather, sweating, maybe even wet from rain , what do you expect " Them to smell like ROSES" Just saying.
The person that made that comment must have visited for some reason or other or else you wouldn't gad said what you did.
I myself are very thankful and appreciate of all stuff at San Marcos.,Hays co. Food Bank.

I love coming to the food bank but this last time I went was absolutely ridiculous I got there early like 4:30 for it to start at 5 I get in line and I’ve been here before the people were lined up wrong and instead of the guy telling the people after me and a line of cars to back up we had to go to the end of the line so I’m not happy I would like to be contacted by the food bank about this, this is ridiculous poor planning on there part. I’m mad because I would have been at the middle to beginning and now I’m at the end I’m not the only one

I am so thankful for the food bank. I don't know what I would have done without them. I just wish that we had a big food bank here like they have in New Braunfels. It has been such a blessing to me and to so many others in need that I cannot express my gratitude for the volunteers, for the workers, and for the people that donate. God bless you all and thank you so much. I would not have made it without y'all.

Judy in client services back stabbed me. I have severer health issues with my heart and raspatory. I almost died recently from Pneumonia and was on life support and had surgery. I asked if something was to happen to me I wanted to donate my clothes to HCFB. She turned around and called the police and lied I was a threat to myself. Police checked me out and thought I was okay and were sorry. This place is a disgrace and bring no value to the community when they won't let you use the bathroom and they give you stale food that is outdated anywhere from 6 months to a year. It is really not worth it. Get on SNAP.

I walked in and they were very helpful, I didn't know that you had to be registered before you can get food but they gave me the forms to fill out and after I did it they gave me an emergency box of food and now I go once a week. They go to 5 different places a week in Hays County to distribute food. I did try to call 4 different numbers to talk to someone but never got an answer.
