I enjoyed being at the Haven of rest with my children cause the experience alone didn't make you feel homeless, it was more like camp with knowledge of Bible studies,and having responsibilities as a parent. and if you didn't want it for yourself they made you see why you should....

Always and who wouldn't love going and finding hidden gems for free! Last time I got a nice soft hooded robe, a really nice igg sweatshirt a few brand new tshirts and lots of clothes for my grandbaby!

This place is a joke. I had the misfortune of having (the attempt) to stay overnight. The food was fantastic but the staff were not as kind. You must attend church or its out the door. I think from a standpoint, that counts as discrimination. There are better opportunities out there.

I signed up last year for Christmas help for my 5 children and never got any kind of help,I called 4 times in two weeks before Christmas they said they was getting everything ready but come Christmas eve still nothing it was heart breaking seeing my kids face I signed up again this year hoping it doesn't happen again 😢 💔 I even talked to the guy that organized the Christmas help 4 times
