Harvest House is the most efficient food pantry I have ever seen. Available for needy families once a month, the Harvest House accepts patrons that are approved by a screening process at Love inc. Simply show up at the appropriate time and their friendly helpful volunteers will bring you a box of food complete with meat, staples, and maybe even some form of drink. While this process reduces choices, it speeds up the food delivery process and makes going to the food pantry painless and enjoyable

If you are coming here for food be ready for a pretty good wait. The food is usually pretty much worth it though if you are actually in need. Staff usually seem a little over worked. Have been some occasions when there are problems with ppl who are waiting being pushy or trying to cut in line. And not many places to sit if you're trying to keep your place in line so if you have a hard time standing for long be sure to bring something to sit on like a walker with the built-in seat. *you must bring your own box or crate so you can do as I've done and bring one that doubles as a seat.
