I had an amazing experience volunteering with Harvest for the Hungry as a member of my school’s club! The organization is incredibly well-run, and it was inspiring to see how dedicated everyone is to fighting hunger in our community. The staff was welcoming and provided us with all the guidance we needed. Throughout our day we worked together to plant and pick out fruit, all while being educated about the activities at hand, to the organization's goals. It felt great to know that our efforts would make a real difference for those in need. I highly recommend getting involved with Harvest for the Hungry

I really love what these folks are doing out here. Great people with an awesome mission. My kids fished a tournament out there yesterday and we were able to learn more about their mission and meet the folks. Me and my family will be going back to volunteer time to help these kind people and try to give e a little something back. Yall come check em out!!!

Great Concept for providing fresh, locally grown foods to the hungry. Great educational programs for youth to adult groups. Check them out, volunteers are always welcome. 😉

Had sooo much fun and a great educational experience here! David is very passionate about what they're doing here for the community, and I'm just grateful that the public can access this venue to help out as much as we want, even just one day at a time. Pro Tips: bring some bug sprays and don't forget to check out their charity farm-egg sales for only $5 a carton!

Work here is for a great cause, come volunteer. Got to help clean out the beds for replanting the next crop and it was hard work, but well worth it, blessing to give back to our community.

Great experience at Harvest for the Hungry farm with my 9 year old son! He planted the seeds, watered the vegetable patches and enjoyed making follow-up trips to see the growth of the plants. I was so happy to get him out of the screen time and involved in some meaningful outdoor activities. Nice to meet super friendly Risha, Corinne, Joe, and David! Look forward to visiting there more regularly for a good cause as well as lots of fun!

Thank you to Risha, David, Joe, Ethan and everyone who made our experience super fun and enlightening!! This was our second time volunteering at Harvest for the Hungry. It was very cool to see how the plants have developed. We got to plant our own watermelon & see the chicken coop, and leave with fresh eggs, tomatoes & basil!
