I toured this facility when looking for Assisted Living options for my sister. Virginia conducted my tour & answered all of my questions, and gave me thoughts to consider as we evaluated options. The facility is beautiful and the residents & employees I observed seemed friendly and happy. Unfortunately my sister's health situation has required skilled care rather than assisted living, so she wasn't able to make this move, but it's a really nice looking place and prices seem consistent with other high quality choices. You should consider it if this type of facility meets your needs.

I arrived at this place to look for a job and the healthcare director Katie is a great person! This area is so comfortable and very clean. I do appreciate everyone who works here to help who they need to.

Staff and residents are very friendly and nice to newcomers. Food and service is excellent and activities and outings keep me busy. And I love my apartment and balcony.

Do not put your loved one here. Please. Multiple issues with this company.
- no one is ever at the front desk- there is a phone number listed you can call if no one is at the desk, but it rings to nowhere…. Even when you make an appointment to meet with someone, you can’t find them.
-pull cords in independent housing are answered “if someone is available” per the contract
- rent has gone up every 6 months for the last 2 years—- it went from $3100 for a 1 bedroom apartment to $4800 for the same apartment in 24 months.

Do not recommend at all. I can’t say one nice thing about this place. I wish I could.

Awful!! Murfreesboro
Our mom lived here almost 2 years. 1st it was independent then it quickly went downhill when we moved her to assisted and finally memory care for the last 14 mo of her life. Memory care is bottom of the barrel. Our mom sometimes went a week or more without shower or hair combed. At one point her disposables were not being changed when we discovered the new pack we bought from the store wasn’t opened and there was mold in her underwear.
When our mom moved to harmony she weighed 130lbs and her last week of life 68lbs. Our mom STARVED. The food is sooooo bad. Memory care is last on the food service list. They get leftovers and burnt stuff.
There was a nurse at night that was medically restraining mom. She didn’t want to deal with my mom walking the hall at night…MORPHINE. Someone reported this and my sister and I got a call from the state. WOW and harmony still didn’t fire this nurse…. They said they fired her but she quit on her own.
There were a very few wonderful techs and nurses but staff never stays to long. They are paid very poorly for what they do. Ethel, Izzy, Alicia, Makenzie, Shonda, Tracey you are the BEST. We are so grateful for you and all the care you gave her.
The management is SO BAD! They are FAKE. Any incidents involving our mom were really never reported to us. We heard it thru the grapevine… our mom’s rent had went to $6300 /mo. Yet couldn’t even get decent food for her.
Our mom passed and not so much as any kind words, condolences, compassion from this place.
My mom was just a number…
The General Manager does NOTHING. It’s all a joke. He does not know his residents nor his staff.
The health director is as fake as they come.
This is all I will say
But I’m sure Harmony will reply to this review, pretending they care so I can reach out to them.
Don’t even go there…. U had your chance. This place is a nightmare

Really nice staff. Made me comfortable. Even though I was agencythey helped me get to know the residents. They really take good care of their residents in memory care.

I am writing a review for two reasons, first to warn people and second, hoping that maybe this will be something that "corporate" responds to. My mom was at Harmony for a little over 4 years. Her first year at Harmony was what we had hoped for - she made friends, participated in activities and enjoyed the atmosphere. Her only complaint was the food. Not many choices and very institutional. It also contained a tremendous amount of salt. I realize that many places like this and people like my mom suffered many setbacks during the pandemic. My frustration is that coming out of the pandemic, instead of being a caring place for my mom it became a constant frustration. There were individuals who were wonderings the halls all hours of the night, we went from 24 hour 7 days a week front desk person to one there only 9 am to 9 pm and many other changes in dining and service. In the last few years my mom has had to call an ambulance several times after 9 pm and we are always worried if they can get in and to her apartment (I live in another state). As my mom's health declined, we needed to move her closer to my sister and a place more affordable. Her rent has increased over $800 in the last 3 years. When her doctor said she needed to be close to my sister and somewhere they would check on her we notified the management of this. (We had already given our 90 notice to move). The manager told us THREE times he would contact corporate to see if they would accept a less than 90 day due to her health. The contract stated that with letter from the doctor we would be able to do this. The contact to corporate never happened. I feel that my mom and her health did not matter at all to Harmony, and this is an injustice to an elderly person who is dealing with health issues.

My mother has lived at Harmony at Victory Station for four years. The first few months were very nice, but as management and corporate owners changed so did the facility and service. When mom moved into independent living, there was someone on duty at the front desk 24/7, food was good, staff was nice and accommodating. This made the price at the time reasonable. Since then her rent has increased tremendously. We were told the annual increase would not exceed 4%, this past year was 8%! There is a person available at the front desk from 9:00AM until 9:00 PM. So that is twelve hours with no one on duty at the front desk. The food is not good nor healthy. As we decided to move my mother to a facility closer to family because her health had declined, we were told we had to give a 90 day written notice. The place we are moving her to offers the care she needs at half of the price. I was told to be able to move her without a 90 day notice, I needed a letter from a doctor saying she needed skilled care. The director said he would talk with corporate to see if we could give just a 60 day notice, but I should go ahead in turn in the 90 day notice in order for the three month notice to begin. I gave the notice. Within 30 days my mother was in the hospital three times and diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Her doctor said she definitely needed to be in a facility with 24 hour care available. Therefore I returned to the management with the doctor's letter and a letter from me explaining the situation which had changed. The director once again said he would check with corporate for permission to accommodate our needs. Both times he said he would get back with me but did not. Since I had not heard anything from the director, a family member accompanied me to the director's office for a third time. Again he told me that he would have to check with corporate because they would only waive the 90 day notice if she was moving to skilled living. The family member pointed out that all of the requests being made were were not in the contract mom signed. The director then pulled the contract mom signed and realized it did not say what he was telling me. He said he would contact corporate and let me know something very soon, possibly that afternoon. That was six days ago and I have not heard from him. Either he never contacted corporate any of the three times he said he would or he just simply did not call nor email me the response. I have never written a negative review but feel this is necessary. If you are considering this facility for your parent, know it is not all it seems to be.
