My experience with Halos Closet has been nothing but Amazing, I can't just say one thing! Halo's Closet offers a variety of activities & services that cater to spiritual growth by helping people learn to put God first and how it’s okay to be vulnerable & talk about the struggles we as individuals go through in life. The clothing ministry provides an opportunity to serve others by exchanging/donating clothes to other families. The Bible study helps us study the Bible and relate it to our lives while growing an intimate relationship with Jesus. I've grown in my relationship with Christ while becoming more familiar with the Bible. I joined 3 years ago with my sister & we get through the Bible in a year by listening & following along with the Daily Audio Bible app (A great app by the way). We listen every day on our own & meet once every week as a group on Zoom. We talk about the Bible, what we learned, things we may have questions about, & what stood out to us. If you're anything like me & have been trying to get through the entire Bible & it's been a challenge for you, try this bible study. I have now been through the Bible almost 3 times & I learn new things every time! There have even been weeks where I didn't listen every day & fell behind so I felt like I didn't want to join Zoom but did anyway & it was okay, no judgment. I started with the Bible Study & from there have been to many get-togethers that involved karaoke, & there's nothing better than to go all in & sing the night away & Praise the Lord while doing it with great fellowship. Had many breakfasts where we shared scriptures & met new people with the same beliefs & are now considered family. I also helped with their fashion shows. Mike & Angelica put a fashion show together every year. The fashion shows offer a unique platform with opportunities to share testimonies, talents & ideas where parts of the Bible come to life by sharing how people are overcoming their obstacles in life & finding their identity in Christ. I was even able to get my teens involved as models, & you know some teens want to be doing their own things, but they enjoyed it, learned & are still learning how to put God first in their own lives & find who they are in Christ so to be able to be with them & watch them grow is life-giving. To me, there is nothing better than serving the Lord with your family, being able to use your talents, while impacting other people's lives & having fun while doing it. Halo's Closet is a welcoming and engaging community that offers something for everyone & I’m grateful to be a part of Halos Closet so I say give them a try! God Bless

This isn't just another Bible study. This is a family. When I joined this group I was at the lowest point of my life. I was lost, alone, and broken. They lifted me up, They prayed for me, they supported me, they taught me, and they promoted me all in the name of Jesus. I became a conversation starter and it showed me how to feel confident enough to become a leader in my community.

We were so blessed to attend and participate in the 2023 Halo's Closet Fashion Show. Mike and Gel are such a blessing to the community and you can feel and see God's love being shared through their foundation and personal actions.
