UPDATE: 3/7/25
Drew and upper management seemed really empathetic about the incident. Drew contacted me immediately to apologize for the way that the call was handled and for the item being damaged after purchase. He also let me know that he educated the staff concerning the need for care to be taken with items after purchase. This was the most important thing for me. I just wanted to make sure that the staff realizes that money is hard to come by, and if we use it to make a purchase there, just please use the same care as if it was there own item being handled and loaded, despite a waiver being signed.

I was also offered a full refund, but this was an item for my daughter, so I wanted to keep it. He did give me a partial refund. I feel better about the resolution of the incident.

I upgraded my review to 3 stars because of Maurice. Since this is the second negative encounter I had with Maurice, my opinion is unchanged as to his ability to effectively communicate in a respectful manner to customers. It is my hope that management addresses this with him as well.

I purchased an item for $160 and the workers treated it like it was trash. The item was exquisite and they laid it on its side on the concrete. I had to ask them to please move it off its side. Then I noticed it was heavily damaged. They simply thought an apology was sufficient. I asked for a credit or a repair and Maurice, the apparent undeserving manager was rude and unapologetic. The only thing he could say was did I sign a waiver. Then as I was talking, he interrupted me and was like okay just tell me what you want. I told him I want you to listen to me and act like you care about what happened to the item. He only offered a store credit for $25, not even $25 return of my money. I understand these items are used, but they shouldn't be thrown around and damaged more than when it came in. Maurice shouldn't be in charge of a nut.

This store is a resale shop, this store is ok. They mostly have a lot of used stuff for sale. Fun fact this used to be a Handy Andy store and they still have the Handy Andy sign up which is cool.

Stop by to see what was available. Lots of decent used used goods... I'm in the market for lots of furniture and home goods... unsure if I will actually purchase used good vs new goods... great bargains if you're on a budget and considering the mix and matching options.

If I could give this place zero Stars I would. Prices are so outrageous I couldn't believe it I even looked several things up online and it was cheaper brand new then what it was used at this restore. They should be ashamed of themselves this stuff was donated for free to them I'm disgusted I will never come here again. You're supposed to help the underprivileged not rip them off even more
