I reviewed the Grand Junction habitat for humanity a couple years ago, and it was ridiculously high priced, since then they have new management, prices are a little better, they need to fire the person who prices the goods. He must be a democrat…and love high prices. apparently each HFH is individually owned, and some goods are purchased, there is a big difference in these items price wise, even though it’s purchased for the same price. Paint at the GJ location is 8-10 dollars more a gallon than other location. Furniture is way overpriced, many of the donated good overpriced, I did buy some vent covers thinking 3.99 should be less than Home Depot, guess what, paid a dollar more than the retail price at HD. To end on a positive, the people who work there are nice and helpful, Shop their when they have 50% off sales, which are maybe once a month. You have to ask when that is. Hope prices get better

This is super sad for me to write because there are many workers I adore ,But The pricing has gotten so freaking ridiculous that you might as well go buy new.I literally seen a donate a chair for $600, who is shopping at habitat for humanity that can spend $600 on a used chair? Just because you can doesn’t mean you should! Be a helping hand for the community, not a hindrance.Do better!

I’m a contractor in Mesa County. I brought some flooring underlayment unused, brand new boxes of LED lights, vanity lights, and more in good shape by.
You’re greeted at the donation garage with what do you got in a rude tone and no appreciation someone is donating quality goods. Immediate the gentleman starts I don’t want it.
It is a shame this is the attitude on the receiving end, super unfriendly and unprofessional. I would suggest we start giving away our items on marketplace for free rather than buying into this kind of gratefulness.

I used to shop here all the time but someone decided they should sell everything priced as new, (sometimes even more). I wont donate to this store again either due to the rude guy that accepts the donations. I am all for Habitat for Humanity but this store needs checked.

Dirty, unorganized and the selection was pretty poor ( not much to choose from, what was available was rough).Staff was friendly enough.

Who at Habitat will step up and take responsibility for the steady decline of this once, but no more, wonderful store? It is shameful that whoever is in control of the Restore has facilitated its downfall. Is there anyone in the organization willing to stand up and respond to my inquiry? Anyone?
