If you ever have decent furniture and household items you are upgrading from and want to donate to a great organization that helps people in need.
This organization will take those items and sell them at a reasonable and most of the time negotiable price to people who are just getting started in their own homes.
They have been known on occasions to simply say for items that haven't sold, "if you can get it on a truck it's yours."
My company, 2 Luv 1 Another, other organizations and many more have been blessed by this group.

I was planning on going to get some kitchen cabinets,but then I saw the Hampton bay price tag for $269. They have the same unfinished cabinets at home Depot for $170.00 and $143.00 at Arbor Homes. I thought the idea was to help people by getting them a lower price and the money goes to helping others. I could see selling it for the same price, but not way over priced. You should check other stores prices more frequently. because no one will buy them at that price when they can get a lot better deal somewhere else. This has made me change my mind about going to your store I will be buying somewhere else. Not sure that helps anyone. Oh I want a better price not to be robbed . You should be ashamed with the price of inflation now and all these families and they're having hard time even getting food.

I called the number for donations and was told they would take new in the original box vertical blinds at the nearest restore. I took new blinds in the original box to the store at 43rd Ave and Indian school and was told they no longer accepted vertical blinds. It would have been nice to get that information from the phone rep.

If you go in with an open mind you can get great deals. Have a collection of possible projects and you'll almost certainly find something you can use at a great price. I got a granite bathroom vanity for $129. Today I got some windows for a casita I haven't started yet, so the windows WILL fit! Usually think the deals' going to be better than it is- signs don't apply to previously priced merchandise, but I same $100s on each project here.

I'm glad other people have had a good experience, but mine hasn't been. I thought this program was here to help people.

the website is very misleading, what it doesn't tell you is that for a household of 2 people (I'm a single mom with only 1 income) the MINIMUM income requirement is over 50k a year, so if you're under that you won't qualify, and you'll have lost out on your $100 application fee. Mary said the reason that specific information isn't listed is because the minimum income requirement is always changing and it costs money to update the website every time, eeeerm?!.

that, "The gross annual household income may not exceed 78% of the Maricopa and Pinal County area median income", part is extremely misleading and dishonest, in my opinion. So it seems the program doesn't really cater to low income families per se, though that's the claim (directly from their website), "Applicants must have incomes that are too low to enable them to secure conventional financing from a traditional lending institution". At 50+k you will absolutely qualify for a conventional loan so long as your credit is good. Now, according to the federal poverty guideline and the AMI, I'm low income.

seems like false and misleading advertising to me, is that even legal?! someone should look into that. do better!!!

Love it. It's like a treasure hunt every time i.go.in. Yes you have to dig, yes the prices are marked high but if you look...theres usually signs say 50 to 70 % off almost everything there. Besides, it's for charity!!! You could be the contestant on help.habitat, I homeless and need a home. You never know why or how, but you know that the money you spend there goes to help some special.people.out there that could just as easily be one of us.

This is a great place to go to find good prices on used items for remodeling your home. They have everything you need. Appliances, lumber, light fixtures, furniture, and more at reasonable prices.

I called them a few Marry L was supposed to let me know what was going on with my application. That was back in September 2019. I called her a few times, she called me back and wanted to know what I needed. I thought to myself "did you not hear my message." I have to email her again. The income requirements have gone up from low income families at $25, to 35, 000 to a WHOPPING mini requirement of $41, 000 to $44, 000 a year.
Good luck trying to qualify. If I made that much a year, I would just go and get a loan....
