We are so happy to be apart of such an impactful organization. The resources that they provide has helped my family grow in such a positive direction. The GSMYC provides events throughout the year that we have been able to attend, the counseling is phenomenal and community of dedicated people make this place an amazing asset to families in hays county. Had an amazing experience here! The counselors go out of their way to make sure that their clients are making growth with themselves and the clients surroundings. I’ve recommended friends here and my overall counseling experience has helped me until this day. The support I received from my counselor as well as others there has been awesome and is very touching. It’s good to have a place to go and know that I am not being judged, but only helped. 1-10, my experience has definitely been a 10/10! The GSMYC is here to help us. 🥰

My son received FREE services with GSMYC. His counselor really helped my son cope with the loss of his uncle in a healthy way. We also attended their monthly National Family Support Network meeting that GSMYC offers for families it's really alot of fun and was very beneficial to our family! Thank you GSMYC for the positive impact you made in our family.

My family is currently receiving services from GSMYC. My children love their counselors. The counselors do all they can to see the children regularly and consistently, even adjusting their schedules to accommodate illnesses and our crazy calendar! I have seen both big and subtle positive changes in my kiddos' behaviors, social skills, and personal hygiene since they have been receiving counseling with the organization. I highly recommend the services and counselors at Greater San Marcos Youth Council.

Greater San Marcos Youth Council really goes above and beyond for families. We have received services for our children and have seen tremendous progress. I can not thank GSMYC enough for the support we have received from the staff. Our family has also joined the National Family Support Network that GSMYC offers as well. Our family, especially our children, look forward to each meeting every month! The meetings help with our communication and public speaking skills while having fun with activities. I am thankful for the timing and place we were in to be connected to the GSMYC for their family support resources.

The services we received at GSMYC were great. Our child has learned self awareness, setting personal goals and to cope with the loss of a loved one in a healthy way. The monthly family meetings helped us to communicate as a family and build a stronger bond. I highly recommend Counselor Lizzy and the Greater San Marcos Youth Council if you child is struggling in any aspect.

When my kiddos were going through it (emotionally), not know how to deal with the hurt and pain can be confusing. GSMYC really helped us out and came through, you know that feeling when your kids can't talk to you and you have no clue what to do. The counselors there really had my kids open up and be more open to us as well. Thanks Lizzie
