Went to the interactive visitor center and it was void of any human interaction. Nope. Not a soul. No maps, information or advice. We drove to the river and left the same way. Your tax dollars hard at work.

What an amazing place.... we traveled far and wide before arriving here at Grand Bay. .. it was worth every mile. Every minute was filled with an amazing experience!!! Definitely family friendly.

Great spot for a trucker to rest! Vending machines don't work so you better have snacks in the truck and the restrooms are so so.....

Very good rest area, however hikers and geocachers be advised the bird trail is officially closed and may never reopen.
