What a hidden gem. Love this place… no lines (unless New Year’s Day, but even at that min wait time 5-min)… the staff here is so friendly, kind and very helpful. My family and I have enjoyed not only our summers here but also winter. The restaurant is really good food, compliments to the chef. The employees here are incredible in all faucets ranging from the ski/bike rental, equipment sales, restaurant staff and especially all of those whom work the lifts and safety patrol. Keep up the great work everyone… looking forward to many more great experiences and memories!

We had a great time skiing for our first time! We went with family who have been here several times & they love it! The weather conditions weren't that great this trip, but they got snow the day after we left. Lol. It was abnormally warm while we were there, so what melted during the day froze overnight. The green lines were a little difficult for us (beginners), but that had a lot to do with the ice. The staff, ski instructors, and facility were wonderful! The pizza oven was incredible! Can't wait to go back and conquer those green lines & advance to the blue!

Advanced Beginner hill. Not a ton of really hard runs but it was perfect for me. I loved the glade runs off of the green runs. Plenty of snow here and groomers were really nice in the early morning. RFID gates work well with a pass in your left glove or sleeve. Everyone working here was pleasant to deal with and pricing was fairly reasonable compared to some of the other mega resorts nearby. I looked at VRBO for rooms and they were really reasonable. Parking is well lit and there is plenty of it.
There are a bunch of ski in ski out condos/houses.
Love that they are on Indy Pass!
I didn't stay in any of the rooms but can't imagine there are anything less than five stars. I really like the bathroom sink handle....you get to choose the temperature of the water and turn it on and off when you want to.

Great place to learn how to ski. The slopes are family friendly. Our ski instructor CJ was amazing. Very patient, down to earth and taught my family and I helpful ski tips.

Loved this place. Slightly less touristy than Winter Park where I went last year which was nice. Small town homey feel.

Weather got bad and the roads were treacherous so recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle for sure.

Definitely coming back here. Would have gladly stayed if I had a remote job !!

We have been Season Pass holders since our kids started skiing a few years ago. This year, we had some issues of our own doing that we needed help with from guest relations, and Harmony the manager was amazing. She helped us get our issue fixed and the kids on the mountain in no time flat, despite the problem not being their fault. We love this mountain for the small town family atmosphere, and love that it is so friendly. The staff is encouraging to beginners and friendly at the lift. We do recommend this mountain for so many reasons. If you see grinches on the hill around christmas time, it's our family!

Fun little mountain with lots beginner friendly terrain. The lifts and lodge all seem new and the staff is friendly. Where I have a hard time with this mountain is the lift ticket price, at max price it should be $80 not $160. I understand it’s Colorado but they are definitely riding the coattails of winter parks prices. If you are new to the sport and money is no object or you have an Indy pass it’s a great place to ski.

Our family has been to Breckenridge and Park City, and while both are beautiful, Granby Ranch is absolutely perfect for families with young kids! From start to finish, everything was seamless and stress-free, exactly what parents dream of on a ski trip.

We never waited in line for ski rentals, food, or even when grabbing last-minute goggles from the shop. The process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly helpful. Both of our kids had a two-hour private lesson, and my husband and I took a group lesson, everything went wonderfully!

A special shoutout to Cara, my 5-year-old’s instructor. He has some special needs, and they paired him with the most incredible teacher. She understood sensory input, spatial awareness, and more, making the lesson a truly positive experience. She is a gifted instructor, and we were so grateful for her! My 3-year-old’s instructor was also warm, welcoming, and gentle—exactly what he needed for his first time on skis.

Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely come back. If you're looking for a stress-free, family-friendly ski experience at half the price of surrounding resorts, Granby Ranch is the place to go! ⛷️❄️👏
