Well it's my church so maybe I'm biased but I love it. It's the type of church you grew up in. It's not the largest church by far. Nor do we have the largest size of parishioners. Myself, well the big mega churchs' aren't for me. I prefer a traditional church where we actually know each others names. We've recently been blessed with a new priest, Reverend Karen Kimmel Freeman. She's bringing new life into the church without drastic changes that would upset some. The church boasts a very active women's group and men's group. There's a prayer service every Tuesday at 10am followed by a Bible study.
Do you remember the thing that our parents or grandparents showed us using both hands? "This is the church, both hands clasped together, and this is the steeple, both index fingers go up, and inside are all the people, opening up your hands showing all your fingers in twhined making the people. Well this church is that little hand church. Come join us for a visit. All people are welcome. And I mean ALL. You just might find something you've been missing. At the very least you're going to have coffee and treats afterwards. There are 2 Sunday services. One at 8am and the other at 10am. Each service lasts about an hour. I hope to see you there.
