Although our hotel was right next to the Gott's Roadside in Napa, I couldn’t pass up the chance to try a burger from their original James Beard Award-winning location for my first visit. After days of fine dining on our trip, indulging in a classic burger was a welcome treat.

We arrived around 2:30 in the afternoon and only waited about 10 minutes in line. We ordered three different burgers, and each one was absolutely delicious. As a fan of spicy food, I particularly loved the Green Chile Cheeseburger—it was a standout!

Delicious. Reasonable for the area. Had a Pliny the elder which I’ve never seen on tap anywhere but the brewery it’s made. Really nice outdoor seating, heaters and covered.

They offer a wide variety of options at reasonable prices.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and a vanilla shake.

The burger was a bit dry, but I still enjoyed it. The onion rings had a thicker batter than I prefer, but the onions were fresh.

I’d love to go back and try more from the menu.

Put this in your must visit list while you are in St Helena. Super good food quality and fresh, this place is busy and for a good reason, people just love this roadside restaurant. Lots of sitting space, just getting bigger and bigger. Line to order can get big, but it's worth it. One problem is those flies, other than that it's very clean, bathrooms are available.

We loved this place! We arrived around 5pm and it wasn’t busy at all. The service was quick and the food was tasty!
We went for the work dog and garlic fries. Both were fantastic for the price.
We also got Frosé. It was a little bitter than expected but again, delicious and refreshing. There was plenty of outside seating at the St.Helena location and the atmosphere was alive! Great for families, couples, eating alone and bigger groups!
Would highly recommend!

A great roadside stop in wine country. The menu selection is good for healthy eaters too with some good salad options. I opted for the Texan burger 🍔 with the outstanding garlic butter fries.

This is a must visit in St. Helena! I have been coming here for years when I travel out to Napa or St. Helena. It is always worth the price, food here is killer. The wait and lines have gotten crazy though, so I often order ahead and eat when we arrive, which works out great, but I always want to add on a little more. Milkshakes are a MUST and the crispy chicken teriyaki sandwich is my favorite thing on the menu, but really you can’t go wrong with anything. I even tried the fried avocado tacos this time, not sure u would get them again but they were really great! I will say parking is a pain here, but I would assume it’s great if you’re already walking around downtown.
