This place is the first time I've been to a few months ago. Hardly any food we got. Boy were we were watched like a hawk. But I liked what we could possibly get. Sadly we will not return. It is 2x a month for help here unless it changed. The lady who registered me is friendly and the rest weren't as much.

The workers are Awesome!! I love their kindness, caring and loving spirits! Although I must say some of the food are awfully expired and bread had mold which I needed for the children to eat. When I went in last week, I got bread, frozen chicken and some burritos from maverick. We had expired bread and it was mold we had eaten and prayed we didn't get sick. (If bread is expired, tip is keep it in freezer) it will hold off on mold longer meaning mold won't build up in frozen state..
I also loved that they have plants to grow, and veggies are always good to have..I'm hoping there's more veggies and fruits to be taken as though are always great to eat when hungry. I'm also thankful and grateful for The Good Samaritan Center because at least they are the only facility trying in their community to feed the less unfortunate.. I admire and love that they don't discriminate, I want to say I give you 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ regardless of expired food, at least you are the only center that are trying to FEED THE COMMUNITY!!
I will always come for food for my elderly neighbor who is handicap and my children!! I thank you and appreciate you Good Samaritan Center!! God Bless You!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I would love if they can supply food in plates for family (example.. I cook tray amounts of Spanish Rice & Beans, tray amounts of meats, and trays of veggies, plate them and then give them away if we can't profit it) just an idea I would love to be a part of..☺️

I went to the Good Samaritan to get some food for me and my family but when I got there. There wasn’t anything left. I also notice that everyone that lives in Cortez didn’t get any food either. I noticed that there was a lot of natives from Arizona that were taking all the food they can possibly get but when it’s someone from this town. We are told that there’s a maximum and we always bring watched. I do hope we can get the same amount. I have a family of 3 and we are always get enough food for a family of 1. And others from other states are allowed to take as many boxes/bags they can. Which I don’t understand. And thanks to the new lady.. anyone that lives in co can barley get
ANYTHING!!!
