This was a horrible Golds. I travel extensively and am accustomed to being able to check out most gyms with a day pass. However this franchise refused a day pass and I had to pay the $20 day rate. Immediately I knew I was not pleased with the quality of the equipment after the first three machines I used needed service and adjustments. I didn’t try any more and 15 minutes after paying, requested a refund. There was no manager on site and I was unable to get my money back. I left and went to another gym.

Follow up: I returned Monday to speak to the manager hoping for some resolution. However he was indignant, arrogant and displeased that he had received a bad review and refused the refund. I was told that my expectations were too high and that the poorly operating machines were acceptable. Regardless of one’s standards, your role as a customer servant is to attempt to make the wrong right. An excellent manager would have listened to my concerns, refunded the money and maybe offered a pass and tried to change the customer’s mind. Result? Great review and a happy customer.

I've been going to this gym for seven years, and unfortunately, it has gone downhill. Every time I try to wipe down a machine, there are no wipes available. The restrooms are consistently dirty, and I even saw a plastic water bottle sitting on a bench in the men's room for days—clearly, no one is cleaning regularly. The toilets and showers are filthy, and it seems like they’re never maintained.

To make matters worse, the equipment is falling apart. The other day, I was running on a treadmill and almost fell because it’s not functioning the correct way. It’s the one one very end that is out of order, this has happens to me multiple times and this time I am addressing it . Many of the treadmills either don’t function properly or shake and move unpredictably, making them unsafe.

After seven years of loyalty, I’m truly disappointed. This gym is in serious need of maintenance and care—it's lacking in so many areas it needs a lot of love . At this point, I think it’s time to start looking for a new place to work out.

Gold’s has an amazing fitness class schedule with so many options! I love the comradery and support from the instructors. They give a variety of demonstrations of levels so everyone can be involved and feel successful. Great music and energy to help you take it to the next level. Whether you’re a beginner or are advanced, you will get an amazing workout and with a great community!

Beware of Theft

This is the second time my jacket was stolen, that too when I was still in the gym. Have been a member for more than 2 years and this is bad in terms of security/accountability. No response from the manager or the front desk just a sorry.

If you have anything important/expensive, please keep it around yourself. They are not going to do anything or take any action.

There will be no response from the owner/management , unless you leave a 5 star

I was a member of this gym for a year, and when I went to cancel my membership, they charged me for another month. I had cancelled plenty of time before the monthly billing period. Ya'll need to treat your members better and not enforce stupid, corporate rules to squeeze money out of people.

The managment has no morals and care about money above all. I would make sure to read through the agreement before just signing up.

A member cursed me out at 6 am claiming I stole her bag. It was not true, management did nothing. Found out it was an employee who moved her bag. Nothing to do with me.

Very dirty gym, I would not get a smoothie there as the mouse problem is real. And the lazy owners and managers do nothing to improve the place.

Managment is very two faced I would not trust them as I was lied to about several things and when I took them to court they lost and looked like fools.

If you want to keep lying I will happily post all of my evidence showing you lied hence losing in court.

This gym is fantastic. Huge space, multiple large rooms with high ceilings, tons of well-spaced equipment, and a friendly vibe. Front desk and management are welcoming and accommodating.

My friends and I were coming in from another state and came in just to shower. Most of us had a Golds pass but from our own state. The staff was extremely nice and allowed us to come in to shower. The gym itself is amazing from the inside, massive, and is also very clean. It seems they also have some of the equipment that’s less likely to be at other gyms including a pendulum squat. Highly recommend.
