Very sweet ladies working the counter who were extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. They gave great advice and recommendations for places to go and sights to see in Golden. They'll also give you some golden tickets that are good for discounts at various retailers in the area.

Besides their personal advice, there's many pamphlets and flyers advertising different tourist attractions in the area. I'd recommend stopping by here on your visit to Golden.

An Unexpected Star Performance at Golden CO Visitors & Information Center!

We meant to post this sooner, but a couple of months ago we visited the Golden CO Visitors & Information Center and it was nothing short of a comedic spectacle, all thanks to the wonderful women working there! My brother Mitch, as part of a whimsical challenge, arrived adorned in what can only be described as a hysterically ridiculous Donald Duck costume. What could have been a mere awkward moment transformed into an epic, laughter-filled event.

The fantastic ladies at the center, recognizing a golden opportunity for some lighthearted fun, coaxed Mitch into performing some classic acts. There he was, in full Donald Duck regalia, doing the chicken dance followed by the endearing "I'm a Little Teapot", much to the amusement of everyone present. The laughter was contagious, and the atmosphere electric!

But they didn't stop there. To ensure the hilarity was immortalized, they took the party outdoors, making Mitch pose for some unforgettable pictures. The combination of the beautiful Golden backdrop and a grown man in a duck costume was comedy gold (and public embarrassment)!

A massive shoutout to the amazing team at the Golden CO Visitors & Information Center. Not only do they provide top-notch service and information, but they truly understand the essence of community spirit, fun, and humor. We left with our bellies aching from laughter and memories that will last a lifetime. Mitch, despite his blushing cheeks, couldn't stop raving about how wonderfully playful and engaging the staff was. We can't wait for our next visit!

We hope they will let him duck-waddle back very soon!!

Sun was out the water wasn't too cold definitely worth it if you're going out for a walk or wanting to jump in the water! Lots to do and see for all ages

We hosted our rehearsal dinner on the patio and were so happy with our choice! Lora was communicative, professional & accommodating leading up to the event. It was a beautiful setting along the river & was the perfect space for our group! Thank you!!

The beautiful lights that adorn the very sickly trees along Washington are my absolute favorite thing about this town next to the shops, people, and Clear Creek!

Great place to get a map of the city. They hand out Golden tickets to use around town at participating places. You will get a discount. I highly recommend picking some up. Bring cash if you want to purchase a souvenir.

Public restrooms are closed all over town, because they thought to renovate them all at the same time. When we went to the visitor center they don't have restrooms for the public, which is confusing since they are a visitor center. We were then told to purchase something from a place to use their restrooms. I had already planned to spend money in town but find it a bit odd that the public visitor center didn't have public services. They then told us we could go to the library instead. Overall wasn't great.

No use of restrooms, directed you to park across the street. Public bathrooms had NO soap, what the heck? Homeless dude was sleeping on the wall by the restroom.
